Harrogate is located in North Yorkshire in England. The climate tends to be warm. Harrogate is a beautiful spa town and is also popular for its proximity to such nearby attractions as the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Readers of the famous series of books by the veterinarian James Herriot, including "All Creatures Great and Small," will want to visit the area just to the northwest of Harrogate that is associated with him.
