The lounge and bar area has a wonderful period feel to it. The location is perfect for exploring Harrogate. My "cosy' room was very well equipped.
The secondary double glazing was stuck half open.

Staff were pleasant and allowed us to check in the day before I booked.
Room was noisy from the road outside and people in an upstairs room until 12 am. Pillows were so hard that we could hardly sleep.

Location, staff, price and breakfast
Our room was a smaller one and there was very little room for a 6ft man to sit down, squashed between the wall and the shower. I mentioned it to the receptionist when we checked out and if we had paid an extra £0 a night we would have had more room. So all you bigger men, don’t go for the cheapest, if you’ll like a more roomy toilet space!

Fantastic place to stay, great size room with decent chairs, main bar/downstairs sreas very atmospheric, location excellent for all main attractions. Would definitely stay again. Staf very friendly and helpful too.

Staff were courteous and efficient.
The sink plug did not seal so I could not wash/shave properly in the morning when I found it in that condition. When I reported it at breakfast staff knew about it and were waiting for spares to repair, but why was I even offered that room

A lovely, luxurious place that was in the centre of Harrogate. It was a pleasure staying there. The breakfast was superb, and the staff were all very helpful and friendly.
