I had a training in Grassington and this was about half an hour drive away. Quaint village setting surrounded by beautiful scenery and with plenty of tourist attractions and landmarks within close driving range. There is a bus route (24) which runs by the B&B. The property was immaculately clean and the Tea Room offers plenty of meal & dessert options. Judith, the host, was very accommodating and went out of her way to make it a comfortable stay. Also followed her leads for nearby attractions and was not disappointed. Overall a great stay and I would not hesitate to book again, if I am in the area

Breakfast was excellent, quality products and nicely cooked. Convenient quiet location for the Dales. Would love the recipe for the beautifully light scones!!! Judith the host is very friendly, lovely company.

Judith was very welcoming, and recommended the best places to eat in the area, and the best places to walk. The breakfast was superb, and really sets you up for the day. The room was warm and clean. The location was very quiet. Free car parking onsite. Good WiFi. Very comfortable bed.

Judith was very friendly and greeted us with the kind offer of a fresh pot of tea and home baked scones which we found a lovely touch .
The room was very comfortable and spotless clean with lovely big bath sized towels.
The breakfasts were excellent obviously freshly cooked, nothing too much trouble.
A very enjoyable stay we would definately go back and recommend to friends .

We chose the firs because of the location. We wanted to visit Fountains Abbey and York. Brimham Rocks, only two miles from the Firs is also a must.
The room was very comfortable with lots more storage than an average hotel.

The Firs B&B & Tearoom is lovely. Judith messages prior to the stay re: allergies and arrival time and catered for our requests of dairy free vegetarian breakfast & late arrival. The tearoom, where we had breakfast, is very pretty and the bedroom was spacious with an ensuite. Everywhere was immaculate! Judith was welcoming and explained where places were to eat in the evening. The B&B is very ideal if visiting the Nidderdale llamas - literally 5 minutes drive.
There is a carpark and plenty to do / see nearby.
