Such a lovely place to stay in Harrogate. Close to everywhere we wanted to visit. Sue is absolutely lovely and a great person to make your stay superb. Breakfast fantastic and everything clean and wonderful. We will definitely visit again and could not recommend a stay here enough.

Location was perfect, so central. Sue is an amazing host, super responsive to messages and really friendly in person. The property is lovely and the rooms were well appointed and clean.
Unfortunately the breakfast smells coming up to my room were a disappointment, but only because we weren't able to partake in breakfast - it smelled amazing! Looking forward to visiting again and eating this!

Great location, host and overall experience
Room was functional and well equipped but a little on the smaller size. The property is next to a main road which can cause disturbance for light sleepers.

Sue was a friendly and accomodating host, and the venue was as close as it gets to the conference centre. The house was beautifully and comfortably furnished.

Breakfast was nice, plenty of choice.
Availability of a free parking permit for the weekend.
Sue was lovely and very welcoming.
Bed was beside the window and there was a draft, although there was the use of an electric blanket on the bed still got a bit of a draft. Used the spare pillow as a barrier so all good!

Great location, everything we needed in the room, nice toiletries plus chocolate on the tea making tray!
Nothing. I would have preferred a lower tog duvet , it was a bit too thick. I’d prefer a lower tog duvet with a top up blanket. But that’s a minor thing.

I received a really warm welcome and help with my bags. My room was on the top floor - compact cosy facilities and exceptionally clean - the bed was really comfy. Conveniently situated for Harrogate Conference center. Can highly recommend, I'm definitely going to return.
It's quite a climb upstairs so not suitable for anyone unfit or struggling with mobility issues.

Shelbourne is in a great location in easy reach of all the main attraction in Harrogate. My room was warm and cozy and spotlessly clean. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming and, as a lone female traveller, I felt completely safe. I would definitely visit again.
