Exceptional
Good size room. Bathroom recently renovated. Well maintained hotel and grounds. Short walk to the market square and cathedral. Plenty of pubs within easy walking distance. Good size parking lot.
No negatives.

Fair
Very disappointed with value. I am an 86 year old senior visiting from Canada and was charged over five hundred pounds for 2 night. My niece and nephew(a couple) paid around 350 pounds for the same length of time on the same dates as myself. This was not fair.
See above. We stayed at this hotel two years ago and found it very nice but this visit did not come up to expectations. We did not feel welcomed by the staff in any way, The rooms are very nice and comfortable, but certainly over priced. I was so disappointed as I have recommended this hotel to travelling friends

Wonderful
Staff very polite & professional.
I was in room 16,
The shower is not big enough,I'm only 5'5 and had to get out to wash my feet, any person staying in that room who carries a bit of weight has absolutely no chance of showering in that room.

Wonderful
Spacious room with modern furnishings, quiet, big windows
It was very hot and although the room was one of the newly refurbished ground floor rooms, it had no A/C

Wonderful
Beautiful hotel in a lovely, quiet setting - but less than 5 minutes walk from a charming and historic town centre. The rooms are very well appointed, spacious and clean. The staff were very helpful, friendly and unpretentious.
Nothing at all.

Wonderful
Location of the property was ideal for accessing the town, bars and restaurants
The hairdryer cord was too short to use comfortably in front of the mirror in the bedroom
