Very Poor
Said they had a separate real ale bar. On arrival was told it had been closed for months.
Hotel took £100 from my credit card after I left with no explanation. Currently in dispute.
Can not phone hotel directly, you have to talk to their answering service which passes on messages to which they don’t respond.

Good sized rooms. Comfortable bed. Ideal location as we were attending a family wedding near by. Nice outdoor areas/gardens for drinks or meals.
A fridge in the room needed. Not very pleasant drinking tepid water.

Wonderful
Comfortable and spacious room in a grand building in a lovely setting. Wonderfully large bed you could get lost in, and a very comfortable mattress. Very close to the city centre, too. Friendly staff and welcoming bar and restaurant.
Nothing really.

Good location was clean and tidy,
finger prints all over the lift doors kind of makes you think how clean is the place actually but overall you can see the place is clean. Just an observation and the staff work bloody hard and appear stretched

Wonderful
Very nice room at the back of the hotel. Bed was comfortable and good range of tea/coffee and shampoos etc. Evening meal was good and priced reasonably. Good range of choice at breakfast. Lovely fields/beer garden at the back. Free parking.

Wonderful
Hotel was lovely, clean had lots of character decor was beautiful, bedroom modern clean , we loved the idea of your going green scheme and earning perks each day
We had a room with a view which was small for the money we paid and was only a double bed most are a king size as standard now but it was comfortable , the problem we had was the window only opened about 4 inches and in the heat we are having at the moment it was so hot in the room there was a free standing fan but it didn't give much relief from the heat , its just a shame withe the refurbishment that has been done air conditioning should have been fitted

Pleasant
Nicely decorated hotel with clean rooms
The staff were completely disconnected from check in to check out and seemed to not want to help . We had a few rooms booked a mix for business and family .

Very Good
The room size was very good and we could spread out. With windows to open we got a nice breeze. The balcony at the bar/restaurant was a nice place to sit. Some tasty food on the menu too and Music played in bar and outside was great. Wonderfully restored Inn with original features.
Seemed to be delays (sometimes hours) tidying dirty plates, cups etc off tables - Customers having to move dirty dishes themselves. It was my birthday, and surprisingly didn’t acknowledge it at all. No fridge in room.
