Lovely position close to the things we wanted to visit.
Very comfortable suite and great breakfast.
Lift too small for me-luckily we were on the first floor.

Location and restaurant seemed like going back in time.
Seemed impersonal. Staff weren't welcoming at reception or at breakfast. Not enough tea for two guests at breakfast and no apology when asked.

Room was excellent , Hot breakfast is self service, some of the items were a bit dried up, although plenty of choice, together with Continental. Location ideal, town approx 10 minutes walk.
Parking was twelve pounds extra local Council policy, they obviously need the money.

Fantastic location and lovely staff. Great parking. Amazing breakfast.
Rooms looked a bit tired. Also very hot room and slightly smelt of drains (disappeared after I ran the taps, shower and flushed the toilet a few times).

Parking options are a bit odd - explanation of why there's a high charge for parking in the grounds (i.e. environmental reasons - to put people off driving) would be handy.

Paying for parking, the hotel has two large car parks and they still charge £12.00 to park. The 20% service charge is applicable even if you have booked DBB, we didn’t order drinks or room service and were still charged 20% of whatever our DBB meals were, well I am guessing that because nothing is explained. I would advise people to ask all questions at reception before you even take a key and check in

The staff was amazing only complaint was the decaffeinated coffee at the bar used the small satchets put in rooms very weak. Otherwise fabulous stay I will be back and will recommend it to my friends

Location. Fine breakfast. Well appointed public rooms.
The bedrooms could do with a little TLC. Also at least a queen, or even - at a push - a King size bed would have been nice.
