Exceptional
Lovely breakfast buffet with fresh fruit, granola, toast or a cooked breakfast, full English or bacon and eggs. Jan, our host was very helpful in describing local areas of interest. She helped with maps and information about driving and parking.
Shower was quite small. Nice toiletries in bath, lovely linens and comfortable beds. Very homey atmosphere.

Exceptional staff who were helpful from the moment I parked up and told me about a sale at a local store. The room was very comfortable with a lovely tartan throw on the bed. Plenty of tea and biscuits. The location and proximity to walking into town is fantastic.

breakfast was excellent, cleanliness, homeliness, a property clearly loved by its owners and prepared for guests as if they were family
No real issues. This is a bed and breakfast hotel and therefore irrelevant to compare with purpose built or chain operators.

Very Good
The location, the staff and the breakfast
Very small bathroom and shower. Soft mattress with a noticeable split in the middle. Blinds that let in a lot of light.

Wonderful
Perfect hosts , welcoming, friendly , and accommodating. Breakfast amazing and so generous , cannot fault it .
As it was a twin room the beds were joined together to make a comfortable giant bed.. however the room felt a little cramped because of that . Also next time we would prefer a room at the front to enjoy the huge window and view .

The breakfast at Arden is the best we have ever had. The eggs Royale was special. Unlimited tea, coffee and toast. The cold buffet was exceptional including home made marmalade and jams. Brilliant selection and everyone is catered for.
Showers a little on the small side.
