Close enough to town to be able to walk there
We arrived a little early than 3 as we wanted to go out for drinks and nibbles door to guest house locked no reply to door bell no response to telephone message so unable to get parking voucher no breakfast facilities which was fine no one on reception when leaving literally just saw a gentleman who gave us room key for about 5 minutes room smaller than we thought

Didn’t book breakfast. Walked into Harrogate and had full English at Weetons. Nice quiet location with parking outside hotel. Room was very clean, comfy bed, nice extra touches kettle, drinks , biscuits, dressing gowns, shampoos etc.

The room was cleaned to a high standard. Met at reception and given a car pass for parking. Other than that never saw a member of staff.

We regularly visit Harrogate and have stayed at eight other venues. The Grafton surpasses them all. Having booked a superior double room, we were delighted to have so much space, a huge bed and a great en suite bathroom. All situated on a quiet road free from traffic noise. We are booking again for spring bank holiday.

Parking was free which was an added bonus. The room was clean. Bed was comfy but every time you rolled over or moved the metal bed frame squeeked.
We normally stay more in the centre. The room was small and bathroom tiny. I had to keep topping up the bath as it was draining due to the plug not working properly. There wasn’t anyone on reception most times.
