Located approximately 17 kilometers southeast of the city, Astana International Airport is the main aviation gateway into Kazakhstan. It is the home base for flag carrier Air Astana. Running from 6 a.m. until 11 p.m., the bus departs every 10 to 15 minutes. Centrally located within the country, Astana is a well-positioned auto and rail transport hub.
