Located in the Middle East in the Judean Mountains, Jerusalem is one of the world's most ancient cities. Ben Gurion Airport is located about 50 km northeast of Jerusalem. There is not a direct bus to Jerusalem, but the #5 goes to El Al Junction where you can then switch to the #947 to the city. You can buy your ticket on the #5 bus. It takes about 45 minutes to get to the city once on the #947. Another option is the Nesher shared taxi service, which is a minibus with 14 seats.
