The main aviation gateway into the country, Vienna International Airport is located approximately 20 kilometers southeast of the city. You can also use IC/Railjet trains. Both trains connect to Vienna’s U-Bahn underground transit system. Purchase tickets from the automated machines on the platform before boarding the trains.
