Situated between the snow-covered Atlas Mountains to the south and the Sahara to the north, Marrakech is the fourth-largest city in Morocco. It is a major economic center and travel destination. Marrakech-Menara Airport is located approximately 5 kilometers southwest of the city center. The airport serves major international carriers and low-cost airlines. Depending upon the origin of your trip, you may have to change planes in Casablanca before reaching Marrakech. Regularly scheduled buses connect the airport and city. These air-conditioned buses depart every 20 minutes. Private airport transfers and hotel shuttles can be prearranged.
