Situated on the Dnieper River, Kiev is the largest city and capital of Ukraine. The largest airfield in the country, Boryspil International Airport is the main aviation gateway into the city. It is located approximately 30 kilometers east of Kiev on the M03 motorway. Several local and regional bus routes connect the airport with the Syretsko-Pecherska Metro line and the city’s central railway station. Several low-cost airlines use the smaller Igor Sikorsky Kyiv International Airport located 7 kilometers southwest of the city center. While bus service leaves from the terminal, the commuter rail station is approximately 500 meters away.
