About
Odessa is the third-largest city in the Ukraine and is located on the Black Sea. It is a popular destination for Russian tourists, and its Mediterranean-influenced classical architecture is an unusual feature in the Ukraine. One of its main attractions is its old town area, and it has one of the finest opera houses in the world. You can also attend an opera there for a reasonable price compared to most cities. The Potemkin Steps, an enormous staircase constructed in the 19th century, are known for their appearance in the 1925 Sergei Eisenstein film "The Battleship Potemkin," but they are a striking feature worth viewing even if you are not a film buff. There are a number of popular beaches along the city's waterfront, and the most popular, Arcadia is known for its nightlife while there is a dolphinarium near Lanzheron.Getting to and from Odessa
