Houston is a sprawling, diverse city located in southeast Texas not far from the Gulf of Mexico. Another one of Houston's top attractions is Space Center Houston, the Official Visitor Center of NASA Johnson Space Center. The beaches of Galveston Island are only about an hour away from Houston.

Getting to and from Houston

George Bush Intercontinental Airport is 23 miles north of Houston and is the main airport in the area. You can take METRO Bus 102 between the airport and downtown.

Several carriers fly into William P. Hobby Airport, about 7 miles from Houston. You can get METRO Bus 40 to downtown, both airports are also served by free hotel shuttles and taxis.
