About
The capital of Hungary, Budapest is considered one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. Located along the famous Danube River, it was originally two cities, Buda on the west side and Pest on the east. The central part of the city has been named a UNESCO Heritage Site and there are a number of notable places to visit throughout the city including Matthias Church, the Buda Royal Palace and the Hungarian Parliament. It is easy to walk to most of the main attractions in the city although public transportation is simple to use as well. Budapest also offers excellent food, shopping and nightlife.Getting to and from Budapest
