About

Centrally located on a high plateau in the Andes Mountains, Bogota is the capital as well as the commercial and cultural heart of Columbia. Surrounded by mountain peaks, it features picturesque cobblestone streets and colonial architecture that form the backdrop for its stylish, urban cityscape. In Columbia’s largest city, time-honored customs meld seamlessly with modern life. Along with excellent museums, iconic landmarks and other cultural attractions, Bogota is also home to chic boutiques and trendy eateries in districts like the Zona Rosa. Influenced by the city’s elevation, Bogota’s climate produces summer highs in the 70s and winter lows in the mid-40s.
