A haven for surfing aficionados, Florianopolis is an island community located in south-eastern Brazil. Boasting an Azorean atmosphere, it features more than 40 beaches, lagoons and waterfalls. Getting to and from Florianópolis

Hercilio Luz International Airport is situated 12 kilometers from the city center. It is one of Brazil’s busiest airports during the summer. Public bus routes connect the airport to the city center. Buses depart from in front of the terminal every half-hour. The trip takes approximately 30 minutes and passes through the main bus terminal from where you can transfer to other buses to reach dozens of pristine beaches. Taxis are readily available at the airport and in town.
