Very Poor
There was no complimentary drinking water or even a fridge in the room. We had to keep buying bottled water throughout our stay, which became expensive and very inconvenient. For the price we paid, this was poor value for money and definitely not worth it.

Well presented property in excellent condition and conveniently located.
Meet and greet was disappointing. I arrived late in the afternoon and it felt like it was all an effort on the part of the host checking me in. I’d been driving for over 8 hours and was looking forwards to a warm Yorkshire welcome. Sadly, that wasn’t forthcoming.
By comparison I stayed at the Travelodge a few weeks later during the GYS and the went overboard to make me feel welcome after a long journey and the same at Hotel du VIN the same weekend.

Beautiful decor, very comfortable and excellent facilities..iron, coffee machine etc
Staff were excellent…but a special mention to Sam lovely manner and exceptional service…..and Chris very knowledgeable and he makes an excellent Negroni
The only real problem was the bath….far too high to get in and out of….my husband sustained a very nasty bruise to the back of his leg when stepping out of the bath. Likewise the mirror..were the clear vision part of mirror was much too high to see into….although excellent TempleSpa products provided
