My partner and I have just returned from a 2 night stay here and are already planning our next visit!
From the minute we arrived we received a warm welcome. Special mention to Bhairivi (?) on Reception (I'm so sorry, I should've asked how you spell your name!) Every time we came through Reception you took the time to chat and open doors for us.
We stayed in the Rye Suite which was very comfortable and well equipped with a lovely view over The Stray. There was a party on the Saturday night but we didn't hear anything thanks to the amazing soundproofing. The room was spotlessly clean with a lovely bathroom. It needs a little tlc here and there (missing switch, wobbly cupboard doors) but nothing that affected our stay.
The hotel is perfectly located for the town centre and has a car park right behind it (£9 for 24 hours.) To be honest though, it's the staff that really make this place shine, so friendly and helpful and everyone takes the time to chat.
I honestly can't wait to return.

Love this hotel. We always stay here when visiting Harrogate. Lovely staff, Rooms are immaculate, coffee machine in room, underfloor heating in bathroom. Bath and a shower and air conditioning in rooms. Super king size bed. Wouldnt stay anywhere else. Excellent value for money.

the wedding party at this small hotel finished at 12 but kept milling around the hotel shouting and banging on doors til 4am staff made no effort to keep anyone quiet. outdoor smoking area was full of people til 4am and this was right outside my window on 2nd floor. i didn't get any sleep til 4am. hotel should keep wedding and other guests separate to avoid this. nobody answered my calls to reception during the night.

There was nothing not to like , the only slight issue was the air was poor the weather was red hot and it left the room hotter than outside but it didn't affect the stay just a tad too hot at night ?

Everything was good except that there was an intermittent buzzing noise in the room at night which kept us awake. Maybe faulty air con next door or on the roof outside. Reception staff were very lovely and gave us free breakfast to compensate, but could not get it fixed.
