My only grumble is the price of parking. I think it should be included in the price for people staying at the hotel, maybe a charge for people visiting friends / coming for a meal etc.

Breakfast room was lovely, bright and airy.
Very slow check in, took almost half an hour, long queue and very very slow. Staff virtually discouraged us to book a table in the restaurant for an 8pm booking as it was so quiet we would be the only ones in there. The alternative was to eat in the very busy bar on low tables with lots of people around, not at all the atmosphere we would want. Disappointing that we were virtually turned away. The bonus though was we found a lovely Italian up the road where we had a most enjoyable dinner in a fabulous setting/atmosphere.

The receptionist was lovely and very helpful and the hotel was beautiful in a great location would highly recommend staying there.
Having to pay a £50.00 deposit for the room which i have still not received back and also I thought car parking was very expensive.

It’s always clean and staff are friendly.
Too much for parking as guest. The room are costly enough then to add £72 for three days is the price of another day for room.
The beds aren’t wide enough considering what you have to pay and they are far too firm to be comfortable.

Great location, lovely and clean and went out of the way to make it a special weekend, only a couple of negatives food service a bit slow in restaurant over 45 min wait for evening meal also parking at £18 a day expensive should be much less for hotel guests but overall a great stay and would definitely stay there again

The hotel was amazing to look at, room was massive and comfy bed. Staff were friendly poilte and helpful. Food was very tasty and served quickly. The grounds were nice to walk around.
1 small fan in the room so not great for 2 people, paid for dinner in the price of the room expecting just to pay for our drinks yet there was a large service fee on the bill that at no point before or during was we made aware would be on there which unfortunatly took up more then what we had put aside for a tip for the waitress. Prices are very large for the food which while very good was not worth that much. Only having 1 hour in the spa/swimming pool per room per night was not something that was mentioned until check in which annoyed me as i picked a place that had a pool and sauna as i like to spend time in them and 1 hour for all would feel rushed and not relaxing especially for the price you pay. Balcony attatched to our room but no access to it.
