SPA was excellent and we enjoyed it a lot!
It would be great to have the option of two single beds at the same price as the double king room.
We were disappointed that the dinner we had already paid for offered only a small number of dishes within the £30 allowance, which left us with very limited choice and made us feel we had to count every option.
We also hadn’t expected that spa access would be limited to one visit per day.

£18 to park the car overnight in a hotel I'd paid £253 for the night seemed a bit steep

The staff were great and the spa access was perfect for our stay
There we a few issues with the room, broken fan parts missing from the upgraded roll top bath, stained carpets. No robes in our room as stated. Kitchen cancelled all dinner reservations and were not forth coming with a solution ended up eating out dinner at 23.40!

Location - very central when attending the convention centre.
Room is extremely dated - pictures do not show the true reflection. Unable to open the windows, some parts of the room unclean. £1.50 for a bottle of water in the fridge when the majority of hotel leave one in the evening complimentary was poor.

I was charged £260 for a stay of one night which £109 was the one night cost of the room ! the rest of the amount was made up of additional charges for room deposit and pre authorisation charges that were not authorised by me I had to ring the hotel to then discover this is a new Hilton policy that guests have no option but to pay I can’t imagine the cost for a multiple night stay would be .
They simply help themselves to your back account the offer to pay you back within 10 days
I won’t be back if you have any sense don’t bother booking it’s a total rip off !!!

The breakfast room was wonderful.
At breakfast I was missing some options such as porridge, Bircher muesli or freshly cooked omelette. The poached eggs were left in a pan with water which didn't look appealing.
The spa was good but the cold shower didn't work therefore I couldn't benefit from the contrasting temperature from the sauna or steam room as it is supposed to happen in spas.

Was impressed with the non alcoholic drinks dejection which included wine! As a recent non drinker this was a real treat for me since we were there for our 30th wedding anniversary. This was also made special by the staff in the first night with petals on our table and a commentary drink terrace bar was great and location convenient for getting into town.
No aircon in the rooms during August is no fun! They had 1 tiny fan with a short lead that was not sufficient enough for the size of the room.

Exceptional
The room was very spacious, clean and the mattress was incredibly comfortable. The breakfast was buffet style and caters for every diet, I am a strict vegan and there was plenty for me to enjoy.
It would be better if parking was including in the room fee.
