Nice location. Thoughtful details like reserved parking. Atmospheric bar and dining room.
Service in the restaurant was slow (and it wasn’t busy). My wife has a garlic allergy which is normally not a problem but on this menu she couldn’t have fish and chips!! Also the bed (room 6) was uncomfortable

Very welcoming and friendly team, nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were exceptionally clean. Amazing food. All in all, it was a fantastic experience. Will definitely be returning.

We loved the ambience of the hotel and the beer garden. The quality and choice of the food was excellent. The staff were very welcoming and friendly..
There were a couple of minor housekeeping issues in the bedroom..
I choose this hotel because it didn't allow dogs to stay in the bedrooms but there was a couple of residents who had a dog with them at breakfast who I presume kept their dog with them overnight in the bedroom.

The whole package is wonderful
I got stung on the room rate because of the Yorkshire show, which more than doubled the price , not happy, disgraceful dynamic pricing!!!!!

Fabulous weekend at blue bell country inn.
The room was beautiful and clean.
Every meal from breakfast to the exceptional cheeseboard they kindly prepared for us was amazing.
Every member of the team at the blue bell work very hard to make your stay a memorable one, can not praise them enough.
We will differently being going back.

Location was close to Harrogate & Knaresborough.
Outside space with well cared for baskets/hanging flowers - done by outside company.
Friendly polite staff - eager to please and accommodate.
Large room with plenty of storage .Well appionted bathroom.Outside terrace.
Smell outside our room (5)
Thick dust to all skirting boards,bed, pictures lampshades. Large armchair restricting access around the bed and outside terrace door.Too many soft furnishings ,all in need of washing .
Towel rail thick with dust ,broken waste bin ,dirty toilet brush.Attention needed to taps and plugs.
Only a blind in room that offered Poor light control.
Poor hospitality tray & toiletries bare minimum.
Pub /inn in need of thorough deep clean.Too many shabby unclean cushions .
Breakfast options either full English or variations of eggs.
Poor quality cereals ,no greek yogurts, soft fruits,berries ,honey or oats /nuts etc .
Pastries not covered ,flies all around.
Only three tables for breakfast ,waited for 35 mins for x1 cooked breakfast - then told they had forgotten it !!
Added on drinks to bill that we hadn't had! Did amend once told.

The hotel was really clean . Booked an evening meal which was exquisite . The fish pie was enough to feed two people
. Bed was very comfy . Breakfast was very nice .
The inn was a little out of the way so if you don't want a quiet night dont stay there .
