Nice location and very well presented hotel.
Dinner service was slow and they forgot my pudding even when asked. Took away from the overall stay.

Location great , very clean , super comfy bed and great shower
Reception staff were not great - one young lady who checked us out was very good and obviously quite new - yet sat next to her was a gentleman who did not acknowledge there was a large queue of customers behind us - eventually he did help , but reluctantly…..

Great location and characterful building.
Lovely breakfast room and breakfast.
Our check in at 9 pm was underwhelming. More like an interrogation without so much of a smile or anything like a welcome.
We gave up on room service. In the room there were details of how to order room service which directed us to use the hotel room phone. However there wasn’t one and so I went down to reception and the staff member confirmed @ yes some rooms don’t have phones” he wrote down some numbers but they did not connect !
Also when we went to breakfast there was no record of our hotel room booking ?

We had an upgrade - stayed in Huel - room was large, bed comfy, quiet, good dinner/wine list and excellent breakfast. Parked out back. Shower was excellent.
The metal tray in the shower is so slippy - you have to use the rubber mat - dangerous otherwise.

Building, staff, bathroom was huge!
Comfy beds
The front door was very stiff so people struggled to open it. Our room was directly above the front door and when it slammed our beds shook!
The lift was being serviced and we had to carry our very heavy cases downstairs
The room service menu was not not enticing food to be served in the room!
