Good
Very large room with comfortable bed. Hotel is a short walk from town. Had requested a quiet room and had one at back overlooking car park which was fine. Helpful staff.
Limited choice at breakfast. Hope they take up our suggestion of getting a new supplier for their sausages - very bready.

Fair
The staff in the bar
The rooms are basic for the price no luxury. Paying for parking, no proper reception and a poor breakfast

Good
It was central to everything in Harrogate it was comfortable and the staff were helpful
For the first night we had only 2 bath towels and 1 hand towel and the mixer tap was faulty which caused it to be stuck on hot which would have been a safety issue (risk of scalding) I managed to fix it and then reported it to the front desk who said they would report it to maintenance. There was also building work going on directly on the roof of another building directly outside our room which we were not aware off but on a positive note it didn’t start until 09:00 but overall it was a very nice place to stay.

Wonderful
We loved the rooms. They were well furnished, spacious, clean, and comfortable. The food was great. Good quality ingredients and cooked well. Staff were very helpful.
Paying for parking the car in the hotel car park. They should include it in the cost of the room, not separately.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Free complimentary drink in Amber Restaurant.
Confused issues regarding parking. We felt the breakfast was over priced. Three dishes were already sold out in the Restaurant ,even though we were dining at 7.15pm.

Very welcoming hotel, most friendly staff thankyou Paulo Restraunt was a wonderful experience evening meal, and breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Thank you. The only negative was we thought the car parking should be included in the price of the hotel . Would definitely be back .

Lovely grand hotel, great location for the event we were going to. Staff pleasant. Breakfast hot and tasty.
Bathroom looking tired. Bright light shining through gap in curtains even though we were on 2nd floor. Expensive, then you add breakfast on and £10 parking. Then if you want an early check in £10 an hour!
