Great location! We could walk to the train station to get to the airport. Also in walking distance to Akihabara.
The beds were a little uncomfortable but great for the price we paid.

host was kind enough to create event with mini games & tour to shrine in the new year eve, they even make effort to provide free lunch the next day considering people would woke up late after new year celebration.

Recently renovated (2021) budget hotel with a competent and accomodating english-speaking staff. Location is excellent. Yushima station (subway) is literally steps away while Okachimachi station (Yamanote line) is about 5 to 10 minutes away. Family Mart is 1 street-crossing away.
A bit dusty, probably due to the carpet flooring. No molds though (huge plus as many other budget hotels have this issue). Beds are on the thinner side.

The location is very good. Neer the train stations, a convenience store, DonQ and just a walking distance to Ueno park & Ameyoko.

the place is near Ueno station, Ameyoko Shopping St, a lot of food places and the subway. It is value for money, basic and yet surprisingly clean and functional. Will stay there again!

Good location, spacious room. The bunk bed makes a little noise when moving. You have to ask the staff for the hair dryer and lamp when checking in. Overall, it's very good value if you come in a group of four or five people. It's very suitable, but not suitable for those who prefer privacy.
Some staff may be dissatisfied or they may have encountered something bad during the day. When wiping tables or cleaning, they make loud noises.

Near the metro and shopping centre. Quiet neighborhood. Our family enjoyed the experience and stay here. Will come back definitely. We recommend this hostel for those who seek comfort and at the same time, budget friendly accommodation in Tokyo

The room was very spacious. We were a family of five and able to move around the room comfortably. The hostel also offers free self-service laundry. It also has a shower room and comfort rooms in the common areas, just in case you need them. Very close to restaurants, shops, and train stations.
The only downside of our stay in this hostel was the noise of the kids' footsteps on the upper floor. Nonetheless, we are happy with our stay in this hostel. Highly recommended!

Comfy beds, kitchen, washer and driers, central, youth hostel but with private bathroom for family
The area was convenient but also had some adult entertainment venues which I didn’t like my kids being around
