Wonderful
I’ve stayed in multiple hotels across Tokyo with my family, but this is by far the most spacious and comfortable I’ve stayed in. The staff is absolutely incredible and quick to attend to you. There are plenty of restaurants and bars right outside the hotel, but without the loud city noise that may disturb you at night. The station is a small walk away and conveniently connects you to 5 different train lines.
It is a smoke-free property, but after coming back from a long day the hallways may smell like smoke for some reason. The room could use some small touch ups and a deeper clean on the rug.

Great location. Hotel team is exceptional. Very hard working people create a very cozy atmosphere. Convenient and clean.
The area surrounding the hotel is very atmospheric with lots of restaurants and things to explore. Great stay.

Poor
The location was nice and the room was quiet. Staff were very nice and polite. The location was very convenient. There were markets and restaurants and good coffee houses.
This was more like a motel in U.S. standards. The room layout was not good. Perhaps this is good where others sneak into the room and crash on the coach. There was washing machine and microwave which we did not use. The towels were as thick as kitchen towels. Perhaps this chain is like Motel 6 and I just did not realize it. We keep the windows drawn all the time since there was no view. The shower area smelled like mildew and did not proper ventilation.

Location is wonderful. It’s not actually a Hotel. They just have rooms for rent. Building is old and not very clean. We saw a rat running outside the front door
Rooms were old and outdated

Everything. From the room and location to the staff, everything and everyone was amazing and made our trip so memorable. They were so accommodating when we wanted to extend our stay, they communicated so well and were helpful the whole stay. The laundry facilities was very easy and clean (one washer and one dryer). This hotel is perfectly hidden down the street from the train station and central to all the shopping and restaurants. It was the perfect location and stay for us. Mom and two adult sons traveling.
No complaints.

We loved the size of the room for 3 people, especially compared with other hotels during our trip. The staff are amazing. The Akasaka neighborhood alleys are fun and safe, and Akasaka makes a great base for exploring Tokyo.

Pleasant
The location was interesting and surrounded by restaurants and interesting places without feeling crazy like some other areas of Tokyo. The staff were so friendly and welcoming.
It felt quite worn out and past its prime. There was a bad smell in the bathroom/shower that lasted the whole stay. The shower was quite unpleasant to use as flooring was very old and not clean. The bathroom faucet wouldn’t turn off all the way. The bedding was nice and it felt clean thankfully, the furniture and even outdoor terrace was very old and not what i expected for the price and paying for a luxury corner suite! Very disappointed, I do not recommend.

Disappointing
Pretty good location and the staff were super friendly
The building is worn down and needs updating. I don’t feel like I got the value I should have for the price I paid. I booked a luxury corner suite, and nothing about it was luxurious. There were stains on the walls, the AC unit was broken, the toilet seat had tape on it because it was broken too, there were cracks in the ceiling, the chandelier was missing jewels, and the plants on the balcony looked worse for wear. The shower felt like one of those communal showers at a camping site- one where you definitely want to wear shower shoes. Of all of the places we stayed, I paid much less for nicer Airbnbs than at this place, so I definitely wouldn’t book again.

Wonderful
Staff was so welcoming and friendly, helpful and professional.
The Japanese style room was spacious and beautifully decorated. Love the furo soaking tub and massage chair after a long day of walking. The washer/dryer in the room was useful too so we could pack light. Very comfortable room with AC and lots of amentities to help yourself to in the lobby. The location was awesome too, with lots of convenience stores, restaurants and shops all around.
Hallway smelled like cigarette smoke (thankfully the room did not and was fine). Room showing it's age little (like peeling wallpaper here and there, etc.). Not a big deal.

I didn’t like the hallways from our floor, the carpet seemed a bit dirty and strong cigarette smell

⭐️ Review draft
“Be careful about hidden extra charges”
The hotel itself is clean and the location in Akasaka is convenient, but travelers should be aware of extra fees that are not always obvious when booking. Even if you reserve a large room like the Executive Twin that can physically fit more than two people, the hotel still charges an additional ¥5,500 per person after the second guest — even for a child.
It feels confusing because you can find a room big enough to accommodate everyone, yet the price is still calculated per person instead of per room. This isn’t clearly shown in every listing, so it can come as a surprise at check-in.
The room itself is spacious and comfortable, but guests should double-check the total price including taxes and extra-person fees before booking to avoid disappointment.

Wonderful
Extremely convenient location. A very short walk to Akasaka station. Also very close to a BIC camera and a lot of restaurants. Rooms were very comfortable. Staff was very helpful, courteous, and attentive. We sent out luggage ahead of us and when we arrived to check in later that night they had placed our bags in our room for us already. For those who do not speak Japanese, the staff speaks english very well. In room washer was great. Dryers in Japan don't work very well so we used the laundry line in the bathroom with the bathroom dryer function. The refrigerator/freezer was larger than the usual small square ones found in hotel rooms so it was able to hold a significant amount, which is helpful.
Hotel was on the older side so do not expect it to be brand new and shiny, but it is well worth the price and the staff are wonderful. Not much of a view, but we are usually out most of the time during our trips to Japan so it really wasn't missed.
