Excellent location and concierge services.Hotel employee at concierge services booked us an amazing hotel employee starred omakase on short notice. It was the best meal of the trip. The hotel is next to the Diet building with excellent views.

Its a beautiful hotel with beautiful views of Tokyo. Its very clean and the staff were very friendly.
Its not a choice I would make again for a family hotel. They do not allow people under the age of 20 in to the pool/ gym and casual bar area. We felt a little isolated in the room while at the hotel.

Quite location, yet accessible transportation to other areas. The subway station is in the basement of the hotel. There is a beautiful shrine located outside the front of the hotel. The hotel itself is beautiful with amazing views from the room. Short walk to fun resturants and bars.

The hotel provided excellent service with excellent concierge assistance. The rooms are fairly large and comfortable with oversize bathrooms. Very good access to the Tokyo Metro.
The neighborhood although very central, was somewhat less engaging than I expected. We tended to head to other areas of Tokyo, which is one of the most interesting cities.

Its located slightly north of the crazy Shibuya district, which is great to visit but Im not so sure about staying near. Its next to the government building areas, so its ever so slightly quieter (at least as far as Tokyo goes). Theres a subway station in the basement, and if youre brave enough, all of Tokyo basically lay at your feet. We arrived rather late at night and discovered to our amazement that it is adjacent to a beautiful shrine, which was empty and dark and positively magical - buzzing with cicadas and downright enchantment. The building itself it exquisite and beautiful, with views all around. Everything you could want in a pinch is a short walk away - from convenience stores (everywhere) to walk in, quality but not pretentious restaurants. Arriving about 9pm as we did, we were starving, and within minutes wandered into a ramen place that was busy but not haughty and we proceeded to devour a sumptuous dinner. The hotel also has a glorious indoor pool and spa on the 14th floor, which opens at 6:30 and which I visited every morning for some laps and relaxation. The staff were incredible. I traveled there with my daughter, who speaks Japanese, but when she wasnt around, they were conversant in english. Also, check out the incredible whisky bar on the 4th floor. Room was absolutely silent and clean. Comfortable beds. Incredible views. When I return to Tokyo, I shall return to the Capitol Hotel.
