Rooms were spacious enough for Tokyo. Had a good restaurant for breakfast and dinner along with a side bakery. Staff were nice. Rooms were clean and hotel quiet.
A bit of a walk to the train station but after a heavy meal in shinjuku it was worthwhile staying just a little further.

Cleanliness, and the on site bakery and restaurants were great. Staff was helpful and so nice.
The laundry facility was convenient but it was always being used and it didn’t seem enough for how many floors they have to accommodate everyone’s laundry needs. Luckily there is a 24-hr laundromat behind the hotel building which they also recommend if needed.

Really cool theme, rooms were small but I don’t think that’s on them. Food was amazing.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was pricey but experience made it worth it. Hotel was away from the crowd but close enough to enjoy a nice 20 min walk to all the fun stuff. We enjoyed our honeymoon stay!
Everything was perfect!

Bakery, restaurant, well appointed rooms, location across road from park
Rooms are very tight, which was ok, just no room for suitcases

Hip, modern boutique hotel. A 10-minute walk to Shinjuki station. Very lively restaurant and bar scene at night.

Wonderful
The Knot was perfect for a traveler spending a weekend in Tokyo. The view of the park in the morning & the municipal building at night made it a great spot to hang out and people watch inbetween adventures. The staff were very accommodating and friendly, which was a great boon.
The room will definitely feel a little small if you're on the taller side, but that's par for the course with most Tokyo hotels. Tochomae Station is ostensibly walkable, but with at least three sets of stairs between the train platform & the street, then another 100 meters across the park to the hotel, it can be a slog after a long day.

Breakfast buffet was great. Cool vibe and not too crazy of a walk from the stations.
Thin thin walls. I don’t think our neighbors or people in the hallway were unreasonably loud but we could hear everything while we were in our room at night by and in the morning. Wasn’t ideal for sleep before a long trip back home or after a long day out sightseeing.

Loved the location, the bakery, the room, the vibe, the family mart next door and amenities
The room was a little dusty and cleaning could be better. The bath tub and sink were not cleaned well during cleaning days as well as the room floor. Also nowhere to put your clothes on. It would also be nice to have microwaves in rooms

The location was good being ~500metres from Tochomae Station and ~1km from Shinjuku Station, making it easy to walk to the train stations and be connected to the rest of the city. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and the housekeeping staff did a great job. As we stayed for 5 nights, our room was fully cleaned after the 3rd night, otherwise it was daily towels and water replenishment only. The shower over bath was nice to have. The bakery in the lobby was really good and there's a Family Mart only 50m down the road for drinks and snacks, which proved to be very popular.
The room wasn't huge, which is normal for Tokyo, but for me, I found the beds very hard and uncomfortable - not ideal for our 5 night stay. If you like a really comfy bed, this probably isn't the hotel for you. I think 1-2 nights maximum would have been better given my dislike for the hard bed, but other than that, the stay was pleasant enough. As this was my first time staying in Tokyo, I didn't know what to expect of the location but if I were to come back and visit, I'd stay on the eastern side of Shinjuku. closer to all the action. Also, my one regret is that this hotel doesn't have a pool! It was 37-39 degrees Celsius when we stayed. I wish there had have been a pool to cool off after long days of walking in the heat!

The staff seemed like they weren’t sure of policies, one staff said something different from another.
We had a booking for double beds but ended up getting twin beds.
Charged for a local telephone call to confirm car booking.
