Wonderful
Very good and convenient restaurant with a very good breakfast buffet. But don’t overlook the good Ramen next door! Good location across street from metropolitan government building with observation towers.
This seems to be common to Japanese hotels but there are no chest of drawers or closet space to unpack.

The bakery downstairs is an excellent way to start the day. Fresh assorted goods. Also, excellent water pressure
It seems that on some floors ( upper? ), the ceiling in the shower is very low. Im 5 foot 6 and I have to duck for the shower head to do its job.

Disappointing
The staff were friendly and helpful and the bakery was nice.
The beds and pillows were hard. There’s a small train station close but the main shinjuku station and area is a 20 minute walk, so the location is not ideal for the price. The bottom of the curtains were moldy. But the thing that really bothered us is that we checked in twice. We stayed for a week, went to hakone overnight then checked back in for a few more days. Both stays we paid for the larger twin (20sqm). The first time it was ok the second time it was clearly smaller.

The lobby was very cool.
Rooms were uninspiring. No closet or storage options of any type. Location looks good on paper but in reality it’s 15 minutes from the Shinjuku station which is a nightmare to navigate.

Disappointing
Convenient enough location for exploring Shinjuku, with easy access to Shinjuku Central Park — a nice reprieve from the busy streets of Golden Gai.
On-site bakery was excellent, and common areas had an interesting, somewhat communal atmosphere.
Rooms are baffling — hard beds, poor housekeeping service, a somewhat frantic check-in & check-out process. Staff were often helpful, but sometimes pushy. No outlets by the bedside, and lighting controls that worked about half of the time. Bathrooms are elevated up a step from the rest of the room and small, just incredibly inconvenient.

It's in a nice location and its got an awesome bakery in the lobby. The staff are very helpful and friendly
I understand I'm visiting a foreign country and I'm not watching enough TV to make it a big deal but it would be nice to at least turn on subtitles

BAKERY, VIBE, MORNING COFFEE WERE ALL EXCELLENT. RESTAURANT STAFF ALSO ACT AS GREETERS FOR HOTEL GUESTS. RETAURANT TABLE SERVICE AND FOOD WAS GREAT. ALL STAFF INITIATED CONVERSATION TO MAKE SURE GUEST NEEDS WERE MET.

The breakfast was fantastic, made with high quality and fresh ingredients. The onsite bakery was also bonus. Loved that there was a gym, although small it served its purpose. The park in the day is great little walking route to a nearby train station to take you into Tokyo. Also there’s a bus stop steps away from the entrance also takes you into Shibuya. The reception area was very helpful
In transporting our luggage.
Only cons - not bad though, just our preference - everything closes early nearby and wish there was an onsen.
