I booked this property expecting a standard, secure capsule hotel, but it is actually a poorly maintained shared-room hostel layout with severe safety and hygiene issues. The property is located in an incredibly sketchy, high-risk area of Kabukicho that felt entirely unsafe, especially at night. Inside the facility, the security is practically non-existent. The "capsules" have absolutely no doors—only a basic cloth curtain that cannot be locked. Furthermore, there is no secure luggage storage. All guest bags are left completely exposed in a public, high-traffic common area right next to the open sleeping spaces. To make matters worse, the property was highly unsanitary. The communal spaces and facilities were dirty and poorly cleaned. As a solo traveler, I felt so vulnerable and unsafe due to the lack of security, filth, and dangerous surroundings that I had to abandon my booking immediately upon arrival. I left right away and paid out of pocket to stay at a safe hotel elsewhere. I strongly advise travelers, especially solo women, to avoid this property if you value cleanliness, basic room security, and your personal safety.

The location is amazing, the staff is warm and friendly, and the facilities are comfortable.
The hotel closes from 11am until 3pm, they literally tell you that you HAVE to leave the hotel and can’t come back until after that time. I know it’s done to clean, but there was a day when I wasn’t feeling so well and I couldn’t lay down on my bed or shower because of this.

This was the single most inconvenient place I stayed during the entirety of my trip. First, immediately upon my arrival I was verbally attacked by at least two staff members at once, demanding I remove my shoes. I didn't mind removing my shoes, but I did not enjoy the attack. Second, My shoes, once removed, were locked away in one spot, my backpack in another, my larger travel bag in yet another spot, and the capsule I slept in was somewhere else again. In short, my belongings and I were distributed across four different locations on three different floors of the building. Furthermore, the larger travel bag was not secured in the room it was in, anyone could have wandered in and rifled through it if they wished.

Loved the capsule. I like the tv and the shelf.
Showers, not all the sinks had product to use. I wish they offered moisturizer. Also, i didn't like having to pay extra for toothpaste or some other usual amenities.

The men’s bath is great. The common area is good. The location is perfect for Shinjuku and still cheap.
Of course it gets noisy when there are like 100 capsules in one place. I know they need cleaning time but for the 11-3 cleaning they should at least allow guests to utilize the common area floor.

I liked the location. The bath area and sauna was nice too.
They make you leave for 4 hours a day! They nickle and dime you for things like a towel. They play this incredibly loud, ear pericing recording over the intercom in the morning. Seriously, you'll get hearing damage from it. There's no air conditioning in your pod and they keep the sleeping floors close to 80 degrees F. It's bad, choose another place.

It was near Shinjuku station.
impossible to sleep. Everyone was so loud- literally people screaming at 3am in the sleeping area. The capsules were small. The bathrooms were dirty. The staff were blasting rap music in the lobby. I guess we got what we paid for, especially in a capsule hotel in Shinjuku, but I honestly think it would’ve been more comfortable to sleep on the street.
