When I booked that place, I obiviously a male bed. but after booking when I checked, it was showing female bed and not refundable. So I asked them to check the system, but they didn't any answer. I want to get a refund and give them some penalty.

Could not stand the smell, people walking in and out all night long being super loud. Lights on all night, the onsen was the only pleasant spot. But no way you could get some rest or sleep.
Japanese Onsen, clean, refreshing and very respectful.

The location that’s the only good thing.
Everything is a mess. If you’re staying multiple days you have to check out everyday and recheck back in. I’ve never seen or heard of this lol. Also, you have to leave your belongings on the reception floor and go to your designated floor. The elevator takes so long because there’s so many people at once trying to access a tiny elevator. This felt more like boot camp.

You get what you pay for. If you're comfortable in a communal space this is a great value.
I only stayed one day but if you're staying multiple days you have to completely check out of the facility and check back in.

Location was good, bathrooms were clean
The lounge area wasn’t very nice and that was the only place to sit. Women did not have access to the sauna

Key point is the location , but also has a bath and a large lounge area with big TV. Some vending machines for food.
Mostly foreigners that made noise constantly and dirty the bathroom. Lounge also smells like cigarette smoke because it’s next to it.

Close to town, lots of amenities for type of hotel.
Beds were A little hard. Having times during the day when facilities weren’t available. Would be nice to have a repacking table. Hard to get into your bag in a packed locker room.

My iphone charger got stolen here. Not a safe place. Report it to booking.com and they asked me who stole it. This is a joke. I have never stayed somewhere worst than this in my life and I travel all over the world. This place does not meet with Japanese regulations of the accommodation. I will be reporting this place and also the staff is worst!!! This place should close down

Convenient, easy to just crash and go on with your day.
Its warm, there is no ventilation inside the capsules, for man in general, its easy to get sweaty. But taking a shower is always a solution. Luggage storage is based on mutual trust. Your larger bags will be stored in a common place with others.

The capsules were comfortable and there were many facilities to take advantage of like public baths and vending machines. The location was in the heart of Shinjuku and there was a pub nearby to enjoy.
The hotel smelled pretty bad all throughout. The only cover to the capsules was a curtain. Wish there was something more secure.

The amenities at this capsule hotel exceeded my expectations: they provided pajamas, towels, slippers, and toiletries. I appreciated that the female room was very separated from the male rooms/showers, so it felt very safe. The locker space was a bit small, but if your luggage is too large, you were able to place it in the room.

Convenient location
The checking in/out process for every time you want to leave and come back was inconvenient - I understand the process and the need for it, but it's a little frustrating with the fluffing about.

It was pretty clean despite how it looks. The males and females have their own floors. Understandable. It felt like there was someone constantly cleaning. In the shower, the hallway, the lockers. So I felt good about the space. Females share an entire bathroom space. 4 showers and 4 bathrooms in a huge area that has a place you can all brush your teeth, dry your hair, sit down to put on your routine skin care products and put on make up too. One of the hair dryers I got too close to my hair and took some strands and messed me up. But it’s ok. I don’t expect them to be top notch stuff. However be careful. The capsules are pretty spacious for me. I’m a little big girl. But enough room to toss and turn a bit. There’s a tv inside I didn’t use. An outlet to charge too. We needed a place to stay for a few hours only. This was a comfortable alternative. To shower, recharge, lay down to sleep, and close to the station.
There is an area you put your shoes away. The smell can be overwhelming sometimes. But it’s not a place I stayed more than 3 minutes. So you’ll get over it.
