Very kind staff and also super supportive! It was our last night in Japan and we were exhausted the staff made it all easy and straight forward.
I did not like that the "onsen" closed at 11 PM. I wish it had been open all night since we made it in late given our long travel day.

Staff were amazing couldn't get any better. Rooms were nice and exactly what I was looking for.
The A/C unit felt a little weak and even though I had a window it let in no natural light which threw me off in the morning.

The staff were absolutely adorable. They were nice and very welcoming from the beginning to the end. The property itself was also very nice, an authentic Japanese Ryokan experience.

The staff were helpful and thoughtful. The room was comfortable and the shared spaces very clean. Having the Gotanda Station so close by made the location really convenient. Would definitely stay here again.

Extremely convenient location for sightseeing, cleanliness is first-class and staff members are really helpful. Cost is excellent considering the Tokyo location.
I had no issues. The accommodation is very close to Gotanda train station so if you're a very light sleeper the noise may be worth considering, but this is not have any impact on me.

Everything. The room has tatami floors, small fridge, and is quite spacious. The towels are changed every day and the yukata was changed every 3 days I think. The staff were super nice.

The property is nicely tucked away but still conveniently close to the station and stores. The staff are all very friendly, helpful, and inviting. I booked a japanese style room and it was exactly what I wanted to experience. The futon was comfortable and the room was spacious enough for me to be able to repack my luggage before my flights home. They have lots of information available for tourists in their front greeting area if you're unsure of activities or need more resources. Loved my stay here and was a perfect ending to my 2 week trip! I would definitely book here again!

This a Japanese inn style hotel and very close to the Yamanote line Gotanda station which helped with easy transportation to all the places I needed to be. Lots of places to eat nearby and the staff were friendly too.
❶ My room had a continuous weird smell - I suspect the tatami mats were damp and wasn't getting enough opportunity to dry. As soon as I close the door, the smell would build up and wasn't pleasant at all. Ventilation was also an issue. ❷ The hotel didn't supply drinking water, I had to buy from the nearest 7-11.

Very kind and helpful hosts - I could leave my luggage for the whole day after check out, in general a decent quality place and the neighborhood seemed calm and not too loud
There was a giant cockroach wondering around my room, I managed to make it run out but it entered another room?, not much natural light in the room as it is surrounded by big blocks

I love the design and decoration of the house! My room is very big. A lot of space. The location is perfect. All good restaurants around me. Short walk to temples or grocery stores. I feel comfortable staying inside in the shared living room when it is too hot outside. The staff is also very friendly.
Mika's massage is supper good. She come to the house. Highly recommend!!! (You will see the flyer on the table of the living room - see Instagram manosabaai)
I noticed a comment saying the shower room was glass door and when I arrive, I noticed that the door was painted white cannot be seen through. That's great. The shower room door still does not have a lock. Since most time the house was empty, I didn't have any issue personally. However, it would be nice to add a lock for shower room, just in case.
