The staff were incredibly friendly and the room was clean and spacious. The facilities were maintained extremely well and there was even a bath available for use. The location is near to Yamanote sen station and very convenient to access most places in Tokyo.
At night, at the area near the station, there is a red light district. I was not aware of this, so I accidentally walked into it and it was a slightly unpleasant experience. I would recommend to avoid that area at night. Japan is a very safe country, so I think it is generally fine, but its good to be careful

An excellent place to stay while visiting Tokyo for a few days! Ideally located near Gotanda JR station, 15 minutes from Shibuya. The staff is warm and very helpful (they accepted to keep ou luggages for the whole day after our check-out - thanks again!). Our room was nice and cosy. Bathroom and toilets are shared, but everything is pristine clean and there is also a private sento you can use. We appreciated the calm and the comfort after our day-long walks in Tokyo! :)

Such a lovely ryokan, with really Nice staff. Only stayed for a night but I would have stay longer if I could. 100% recommend! I was a bit affraid of the shared bathroom but that was so clean !

All the staff are friendly and helpful. It is very close to Gotanda station and there are many shops nearby. Definitely will stay here again.

1) very clean - beyond my expectation. I am a clean freak. 2) very traditional style - remind me that i am in Japan. The sheets are so comfortable 3) good price
1) you can hear the train (it didn't bother me much this time because i was too tired that night and i only stayed one night. I don't know if it will bother me if i stay more than 1 night.

It was only a short walk from the station and around the corner from the Family Mart. It was clean comfortable and perfect location to get the Shinkansen.

Beautiful ryokan, old but gives a very classic Japan feel. Very cute, friendly and accommodating staff, really made us feel at home, better and more personal service than some hostels in Tokyo. Good location, near shops, restaurants, a big grocery store, the meguro river, parks, and train station.

We had a really nice stay at Ryokan Sansuiso, it is a great place to explore Tokyo. The host was really friendly and waited for us, even though we arrived very late. The rooms and facilities are very clean. We liked everything about our stay!

Perfect place. Close to yamanote line and veeery clean. We had our own bathroom and they provided kimonos for the night which where very comfy. It was raining hard when we arrived and they even offered to dry our shoes. Would definitely come back.
I would say the only problem for us was that we had very heavy luggage and there wasn't an elevator. But the owner helped us carry it upstairs!

The hosts where very nice and showed all the amenities and traditions of the Ryokan. The Ryokan and the room was very clean and was great! The Ryokan is a 5 min walk distance to Gotanda station which makes transportation to Shinjuku and Shibuya very easy. I really recommend staying at Ryokan Sansuiso for a traditional and really relaxed stay.
