Staying on the Executive floor was well worth the additional charge. Having breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening cocktails was super relaxing on the 20th floor with a great city view. Subway stop right at the hotel is super convenient.
Room was slightly small but perfectly adequate for Japan.

Location, location, location. . .easy access to metro; convenience of places to eat (all good) including izakaya, sushi, ramen, 7-11 quick take-outs, and even a McDonalds, Baskin and Robbins; access to shops selling traditional crafts and snacks, fresh fruits and vegetables, local treats. There is even a Daiso there. Overall, there is a comfortable, neighborhood feel to the location of this iconic hotel. A final word, the attention given to visitors by the staff is OUTSTANDING. They are one of my main reasons for staying here.
The rooms, though very clean, are a bit dated and worn. The buffet was more varied in past visits, but perhaps the choices are determined by the clientele that frequent Royal Park Hotel.

Wonderful
Location is clutch quiet neighborhood but easy access to everything. Staff is amazing and we loved the executive lounge, great views and amenities. Hotel is older but by no means is it lesser quality. Would definitely recommend and come back to stay.

Th Chinese restaurant lunch set was one of the best meals we’ve ever experienced. The bath was lovely. The view was fantastic. There’s a wonderful walk along the Sumida River not far from the hotel. Cross the river and walk right. The Limo bus to the airport was extremely convenient. The neighborhood had great shops and restaurants too. We fell in love with Tokyo and was glad we spent our last night at the Royal Park.
No complaints at all!

Staff were amazing, housekeeping was great, facilities were insane. We had help with luggage in and out. There is a taxi stand right outside and 7/11, family mart, and laundry across street. It even connects directly to a subway station. Room was nice and spacious for my family.

Fair
Location - best thing about this hotel. Entrance to limousine bus terminal is inside the hotel lobby, as well as the entrance to the Hozomon metro line. The rooms are spacious when compared to business hotel chains in Japan
It is an old hotel well past its glory days. Most facilities (even the gym) require additional payment. Upon arrival the staff couldn't find my luggage delivered by the transport company and told me they had failed to deliver it (an unheard of thing in Japan). Next day it turned out my luggage had been delivered on time and it had been entirely the hotel staff's fault that they did not find it in their storage area. This is very poor service, especially by Japanese standards.

Wonderful
This hotel felt lux!! So grand and the staff were SO kind and helpful. The room was a good size and the hotel is right above and connected to a train station.
The AC didn’t feel like it was working but we were only there one night and left very early so I didn’t get chance to mention it

Hotel is located above the subway, which was great for when you get back late.
The staff is very friendly, always willing to help and were great at giving us directions for the very complex subway. Rooms were clean and serviced impeccably every day. The shower was great, with plenty amenities. Family Mart and 7 Eleven very close by for those very late nights.
The executive lounge is only for the views really. .
Rooms were a bit small, but still comfortable. Breakfast on the executive 20th floor was very limited and the same every day, not worth the extra you pay.. Great views though from that floor. TV stations very limited, only BBC, ABC (Australian) Fox News and the rest were Japanese stations.

Pleasant
The Royal Park is an aging and in need of update hotel, but quite decent business hotel that is a bit overpriced for what you get, but has an excellent location right on the Hanzomon subway line and is close to many things in Nihonbashi. It's obviously used by a lot of foreign businessmen and Japanese salarymen in town for large corporate meetings and imagine it makes most of its money that way. The staff were excellent, though I have to say.
It was very expensive for what you got value-wise and the rooms were quite dated and tired. It honestly felt like the ratings in Booking.com have been gamed and the buffet was of broad selection but poor quality (the pastries in particular, were super dry and hard every day like they'd been baked the night before and then put out the next day since I would refer to them as "stale"). I was annoyed the gym that booking.com said they had requires a fee to use. The teppanyaki restaurant on the 20th floor was both overpriced and of mediocre quality. And I had laundry done by the hotel twice which was eye-wateringly expensive for basic laundry (and which I kinda resented having to pay that much for). There are other strange things about it: Why, for example, is the ground floor restaurant and breakfast buffet place tiki-themed? Overall, it was ok for the 9 day stay I had but felt I would have done better staying a bit father away and in the like-priced hotels in the Ginza for better value.
