Very Good
Great facilities. The onsen, particularly.
Our bed was like a board. Much too hard. Restful sleep was difficult.

Good
Very good location, right next to the tokyo metro station and a 5 minute walk from the JR station. Also a few minutes walk from Akihabara. Lots of places to eat at, and a small seven eleven directly below the hotel. Was able to check-in almost an hour before. The public bath was always clean, and free ice cream after was nice. The free half size ramen was also tasty.
The room could have been a bit cleaner. All the edges of the carpet floor were dusty. Some water stains in the shower, stains on the outside of the bin and some dust around the corners of the table. Didn't affect the quality of stay, but compared to other hotels I stayed at in Japan, I expected better.

Great hotel in a great location for exploring Tokyo. The public baths are great for relaxing. Breakfast is wonderful, great variety.

The location is convienent between 2 metro station (Kanda and Akihabara). Kanda entrance is just 1 min walk from the accommodation. Akihabara will be 5 to 8 mins walk, with luggage, it can be abit challenging but all the electronic/ anime stuff are just there.
The room is spacious for 2 ladies whose objective is shopping!! Is very functional room. Toilet and shower is separated. 2 Super singles (Double bed?). Very clean room and toilet. We do our laundry on daily basis, very convienent where detergent is auto loaded, thus you do not need to bring your own detergent. Dryer will need to pay 100 for 20mins, which we didn't, we just let it air dry in our room. We didn't get a chance to use public bath, but we see some people went up on daily basis! Also there is free ice creams and ramen daily.
We totally look forward to the daily breakfast. As asians, we love asian warm food for breakfast.
We really love this place and would visit Dormy Inn accommodation again!
Maybe 1 more bin in the toilet.

Very comfortable! Big room for Tokyo standards, a lot of little nice touches - onsen, ice cream, ramen were all free. I highly recommended this stay to my friends and family visiting Japan, and would 100% pick a Dormy inn hotel the next time I visit.
Nothing. They went above and beyond.

Wonderful
Everything about my stay was fabulous. Room, breakfast and the beautiful Onsen/bathhouse... all fantastic. The only thing it lacked was a member of staff who spoke good English.
The only issue I had was communicating with the staff. I don't speak Japanese, and the staff has very limited English, so at time this made communication difficult. It would be good if there was at least 1 member of staff on duty to help English speaking guests.

The location was excellent and the room was spacious. It's easier to get to Akihabara station than JR Kanda and there are lots of restaurants within a reasonable walk. They had a tv in the sauna! I'm fond of the Dormy Inn chain and was mildly disappointed that I didn't manage to make it to breakfast on the nights I stayed there.
The area between JR Kanda and dormy inn is mostly bars, but the walk is mostly on a main street. You can bypass some of this by heading towards the subway station and taking one of the exits- which will also save you a crosswalk or by coming from Akihabara.

everything is okay.
There is smell in the bathroom and I think it is from the drainage system. The room looks dated.

The location is very convenient to JR Akihabara & Tokyo Metro Ginza line. A 7-11 is located on the 1st floor of the building.
Room size is larger compared to other business hotels in the area.
A public bath and other freebies like ramen and ice cream are nice. Laundry washing is free but drying is 100 yen per 20 mins.
At times, the room cleaning was very minimal and part of the room was dirty. The remote control had dirt and residue. The seat and tables had prints as if it wasnt cleaned.
I took it upon myself to clean it.
