Disappointing
Rooms are so incredibly small theres no space for two people to walk in the room at the same time. The hotel reeks of cigarette smell everywhere and the facilities and room amenities have been below average compared to what we have experienced in Japan on this trip. This wouldve been an ok experience if this wasnt supposed to be a 5 star hotel

Good staff, beautiful location and great views. 16th floor lobby is exciting. Nice small bar with limited menu. Lots of foreign travelers makes it easy to meet others. Good bi breakfast buffets.
The restaurant was nearly useless. It was closed to guests for “private parties” which made it useless for hotel guests. Should have a casual dining facility for those arriving after a day of travel.

Great location to Ginza's major shopping. Access from Narita airport convenient. Clean room and friendly staff.

Location on the outskirts of central Ginza.
Customer facing staff were inefficient and there was a fundamental lacking in understanding culture of service. After 40 minutes at check in for absolutely no apparent reason other than the receptionist writing a Facebook post on how they dislike their job, the manager came out and gave me his business card as if that were som magical consolation. I have stayed at another Mitsui Garden hotel more than 20 times - something is wrong at their Ginza property. Breakfast - not value for money. Room - not value for money. Facilities - not value for money.

The hotel was well situated amongst multiple metro stations. The lobby was beautiful and smelled great.

Disappointing
We liked the location of this property. Very convenient to great shopping in Ginza. We also enjoyed breakfast at the hotel restaurant.
Our room was tiny! The room also had a faint but noticeable smell of cigarette smoke, even though we requested a non-smoking room. Additionally, I killed a bug in the bathroom. A small beetle-not a huge deal, but not a good thing. Our room was not cheap. I feel like we paid a premium for it. I’m guessing it was the location?

Coming from the US we didn’t realize there were smoking rooms in Japan . We accidentally booked the smoking rooms and had to stay in 2 different rooms since there weren’t any non smoking rooms for two consecutive nights. We also had to pay more for the second night for a larger non smoking room.
