Staff was kind, polite, and accommodating. Great place to stay for families and a first time tatami experience in Tokyo on a budget. Neighborhood was lively at night.
Unfortunately, the tea ceremony service was not available during our stay.

Wonderful
Safe, convenient neighborhood. Staff are nice and helpful. Room was spacious and had private bath. One of the few places in Tokyo where a family of 4 can share a room.

Pleasant
The overall space is excellent, the staff is friendly, communication in English is smooth, and the room offers two full bathrooms.
The beds are small, room design overly modern rather than traditional Japanese style, and the room has too many steps and stairs to go up to the room. It’s not suitable for female guests, and it lacks full‑length mirrors.

Convenient location to the metro, nearby restaurants and the kindness of the staff engaging with the adults and children. The traditional Japanese breakfast meal was a wonderful experience. Would also highly recommend taking a bath in the deep tub!

Fantastic stay! Exceptional service with fluent English-speaking staff, squeaky-clean facilities, and a truly authentic breakfast. The comfortable, air-conditioned rooms and provided yukatas made for a perfectly relaxing and immersive getaway.

Welcoming hosts who speak English and are kind and helpful. Wonderful homemade traditional Japanese breakfast. Close to train station, coin laundry, konbini, Yamato luggage shippers and local shops and restaurants. Quiet area. We slept in a traditional room with futon beds and we were quite comfortable. We had a very nice shamisen lesson. Highly recommend as a warm and hospitable place to stay.
Nothing. I wanted a traditional ryokan experience and this was just what I was looking for

Very Good
Customer service was outstanding! They helped me during an emergency and were incredibly supportive, assisting me with everything I needed. I am truly grateful to the entire staff, especially the manager, Mrs. Chikako, for her kindness and professionalism.
The breakfast was also excellent. Thank you for introducing new flavors and providing such a delicious and enjoyable experience.
The Sakura room was cozy and full of charming little details that I really enjoyed. The only minor inconvenience was that the shower was located outside the room, but in the end, it was not a problem and did not affect my overall experience.

We loved the location and the friendliness of the people there.
Nothing really! The only thing we didn’t love was the lighting in the room, the overhead was too bright really.

I liked the location. It felt real, less touristy. We wanted to try an authentic Ryokan & the traditional Japanese breakfast with the explanation was delicious and good value.

The ryokan was very centrally located and close to teh subway. The room was comfortable, spacious and very clean. The Japanese breakfast was very good and authentic. The staff were pleasant and helpful.
We stayed in the annex which was in a separate building and removed from the common areas.
