It is near a subway station and the TCAT terminal for the bus to/from the airport. The neighborhood is quaint. Staff was superb. I would stay again.

It was a beautifully furnished traditional style Ryokan. Staff were very helpful and kind. We really enjoyed the stay there.
Only that it was a little hard to go up stairs with the slippers because the stairs were steep. But I could simply slip off slippers while climbing stairs and slip them back on so no major issues there

We stayed in the triple room which was cool and traditional, and then in the suite which was incredible. The breakfast was beyond fantastic and the staff were incredibly helpful even after we departed they helped me with some luggage problems and were very responsive. They really went above and beyond to make our stay great. The location was also fantastic, easy walk to a ton of restaurants and train stations.

The room was spacious and a beautiful mix of modern design with splashes of Japanese tradition. Friendly staff and delicious breakfast. Loved the size of the tub they had which was great to use.
There are no complaints at all. We loved everything about it.

Going to this Ryokan felt like we were visiting family! Everyone is warm, welcoming and helpful. The room and bathroom are spacious and comfortable. Location is close to everything! The owner of the place is such a sweet lady! She came outside and welcomed us when she heard us unload our luggage for check in and waited for our taxi outside with us after check out! The staff is amazing also and made us a wonderful breakfast for the 7th of January. It was my son’s second time here and my first but definitely not last time!

Very Good
Close to Ueno, Asakusa, Akihabara, Tokyo main station. Place was very clean & quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful, also speaks really good English. Good value breakfast as well.
The room isn’t well sound-proofed. It’s also quite cold in the bathroom & toilet area (we stayed at Botan room). The lighting was also a bit confusing/ not intuitive, though this is minor.

Good
The owner is fantastic as are the staff. The place is nice, quiet, and clean and is in a great part of town. The owner was very accommodating, gave us great restaurant recommendations, and went out of her way to make reservations for us at an great local oriented sushi restaurant.
The major problem was the bathroom being outside of the room and down a flight of stairs. It's challenging at night to get up, half asleep, find the doorway in an unfamiliar room and go down a stairway into a bathroom and then climb the stairs back and try to remember where your room is.

Room has been renovated with tremendous style. Yes you have to walk up stairs (negative comments from some people - how can you expect elevator in an old traditional Japanese building) but then you enter an amazing space that has been designed with perfect style
Can't think of anything.

Wonderful
It's very nice if you want to experience the traditional house experience. It even has a japanese garden that you can see when using the nice bathtub. We liked everything except for the stairs going up the unit and no lift but there are units on the first floor too. Also, no washing machine.
No washing machine.
