I basically never submit reviews of properties, but felt compelled to do so after my stay at the Imperial Hotel. It may sound as if I was given something by the hotel for this review, but I assure you that I was not. My stay at the hotel was nothing short of spectacular. The hotel itself is in prime condition. The rooms are spacious, beautifully appointed, and modern. But that's not the reason for my glowing review. The staff is the reason the hotel shines. I have been to many luxury hotels around the world, and Japanese service is always good. The service I received at the Imperial was exceptional even for high Japanese standards. For example, my daughter and I took a train to Osaka after checking out of the hotel. When we got out of the taxi, my daughter forgot her purse and only realized it later. I called the hotel and the staff tracked down the cab company that took us to the station and arranged for the purse to be returned. That is fully representative of the great service the hotel provides and I could not recommend it more.

Excellent location to get to other parts of Tokyo. Close enough to Ginza, but not in the heart of the craziness. It was quiet and excellent hotel to stay at. Staff was always friendly and helpful.

The Staff, the room was clean and good size, everything was clean (The cleanliness of the facilities was excellent). The location is fine for us. Near (walking distance) Ginza area and Tokio station. Near subway, restaurants and comercial areas.
I believe the Breakfast buffet is so expensive. The food that they offer does not justify the cost.

The location was excellent. Beautiful and big lobby. With a nice lobby cafe. Gym was not big but everything was there. Concierge and other staff was very helpful and attentive.

First and foremost, the service is Five Star, exceptional from the greeting team, baggage handling, front desk, and housekeeping. We ate our first breakfast in the hotel restaurant not in the lobby area and this was good with great service. I was surprised to see a automated bidet Toto washlet toilet. It was very nice. The location is fabulous across from Hibiya Park and the Imperial Palace grounds. The hotel is so centrally located to many of the sites and places we wished to see in a short 2 day visit to Tokyo before we boarded our cruise ship. We walked everywhere within 3-4 miles of the hotel including the Diet, Imperial Palace, Tokyo Tower, and other parks and communities.
The rooms were a little outdated but still clean and modern. We did have to walk a bit of a distance to the second tower but it was really not much of a problem.
