The staff and customer service were beyond my expectations. They accommodated every need. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable and the views were great. Also really like the location, Giza neighborhood. Very walkable to beautiful parks to walk or run, good restaurant alleys, and the train system. Nice shopping all around as well.
The only downside if it’s a very far walk from the entrance to the tower where the rooms are. The hotel is multiple buildings but you cannot connect to the outside from your building, you have to walk through multiple. Not a huge deal, just time consuming.

This hotel is Japan’s best!!! Even after many years and today’s thunderstorms of new competitors entering the market day after day, this hotel remains timelessly fresh and never feels old. No other hotel understands its guests as deeply as this one does. If you stay here, you’ll discover so many hidden gems in the surrounding area. They pay incredible attention to detail and execute flawless service every single day, year after year. The location is perfectly central, the quality of service is at the absolute highest level, and in my opinion, the food is simply ok the best. To me, this is not just the best hotel in Japan — it could easily be considered top-category in the world.

The food on New Years day was something out of a dystopian movie - a buffet, in a large conference room with food that was premade. I have a diary intolerance and we couldn't order any food. It was simply terrible. Rooms are really dated as well, they are due a serious renovation. I stayed there twice before, last time was 2015, and it has not been renovated since. It's clean yes, but for the price it really needs an upgrade. The fact we were not given a normal breakfast but instead put in a conference room for both New Years Day and the 2nd Jan really ruined the experience even further.

I stayed for 1 week there and it was impeccable. Services 10/10, location 10/10 literaly few meters from underground station, food / restaurants 9/10 really reccomend the vikings breakfast, public bath perfect and complete 10/10, room 10/10 large space / clean / high floor with great view of Ginza. Definitely I’ll come back to Tokyo and will stay there again - great value for money! Attention to details and tradition are high standards!

The room was spacious and clean, and the amenities were all appreciated.The bed was a bit hard for us, but doable. The room service was super on time, and the food quality was excellent. Everyone went out of their way to ensure our stay was great. A special thank you to the older gentleman who works at AWA:) Overall, we really enjoyed our extended stay and would be happy to stay again.
Not much to complain about; however, it would be the valet; they should not get irritated (especially when tipping is not appropriate in Japan) when a guest wants to pre-order their own taxi. It wasn't appreciated. They can be a bit more respectful regardless. The banging from the room above for three nights of our stay kept us up. The bed was a bit hard for us, but doable.
