The room was spacious and had a bit of a retro vibe which I enjoyed! It was clean and tidy and had all of the amenities you'd expect. The staff were also warm and lovely, and happily answered all my questions.

Location and proximity to Tokyo Station and Metro Lines Staff were fantastically polite, helpful and warm. Snacks in the room, along with organic green tea. Postcards in the corridor were very nice and interesting.
Limited non Japanese TV Channels Some parts of the room showing signs of wear Mattress a little too hard for my liking Room heating and air conditioning temperature a little hard to get the right temperature. Too hot or too cold.

Not a 4 star hotel as listed. 3 star experience, in fact some of the 3 stars I stayed in on my trip were better. Outdated and overpriced for what it was, room smelled musty and had no independent AC unit. The central AC wouldn't go below 20 C. No balcony.

In case you’re looking for a foreigner comment from the States. Ryumeikan Hotel is very close to the train station about a 10min walk. Its almost central location if you’re doing activities in this area.
Can’t point out anything i don’t like barely was inside.

The rooms were extremely quiet and relaxing. They were comfortable with nice lighting and we had adequate space for dealing with luggage and doing work. The amenities included items both useful and "nice touches", which were much appreciated after long days in the city. Check in and check out were extremely fast and easy. The laundry was necessary for us; the machines were able to run small loads more quickly than at some other hotels, which helped us keep on on schedule with less luggage. The location near Tokyo Station was also terrific, as we were coordinating several itineraries of different people traveling through Tokyo.

Great location very near the main train station. The staff was extremely helpful when our arrival was delayed by two days due to a typhoon (our cruise was delayed). They cancelled our reservation for those two nights even though we were well past the date when we could cancel without penalty. They also helped with forwarding our luggage. They could not have been nicer. A great hotel!
