Pleasant
The location is great. It is near the subway and it is an area with a lot of shops, bars, and restaurants. The soundproofing for the room was good. We could not hear street noise. They stored our suitcases for free after check out and before check in. The breakfast was good.
In general the hotel is very dark inside, and when you look at things closely, they are not very clean. There was a lot of dust in the corners and between spaces of the room.

Wonderful
The staff was incredibly helpful with my luggage. They helped me bring it up to my room
They spoke really well English and offered to call for a taxi even though I didn't need it.
Wasn't sure if there was a laundry on the premises but that's on me. I didn't ask. But it also didn't matter. The lack of a fridge really didn't help. I wanted drinks cold for the morning.

Wonderful
This hotel is in an excellent location that I think a lot of people overlook. Akasaka is full of restaurants, bars, and small stores within walking distance of the hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful and can hold luggage if needed. The shower and bathroom were a nice size. Hotel has a restaurant off to the side that was packed with locals every night and was open early for breakfast if you need something first thing in the morning. The closest train station is a 5 minute walk to Akasaka Mitsuke on the Marunouchi line, which can get you to many of the most popular places in Tokyo (Station also has connection to Ginza line, another convenient line).
Depending on the time of year you go, the hotel cooling/heating seems to be controlled centrally even though they provide you with a thermostat. On a couple of nights, our room was set to "cool/heat" even though we'd set it to "cool" and to about 19-20 C. This was a strange setting and made the room too warm overnight. My husband went down to explain our vents were blowing warm air and the woman at the front seemed to understand and went to change something, so I wonder if they just change the settings depending on weather, but if you're used to having a cooler that usual room watch out for this setting. The bed is also extremely firm but this seems normal for Japan.

Good
The location was very close to the metro. The front desk staff were very kind and spoke just enough English.
The hotel style is very dark both in the public areas and bedroom. The room is tiny and the sofa bench takes up too much space. The carpet was not very clean.

The rooms were a great size for a solo traveler. The location was great to get around Tokyo. The little restaurant next to the hotel served a great selection of food for breakfast. Staff were very friendly.
I'm 6'1" and the facilites were a bit small for me, but that's not something I have control over nor would I hold this against the hotel.

The beds were so comfortable we didn’t wake up in the morning ? I also blame jet lag but really these beds were amazing. Really cute hotel, super well located next to one of the main stations with few different lines. Really nice at night with restaurant and bars. The people at the reception didn’t speak English but the had an amazing translator tool, like a big screen that record what you say. Also in front of 7/11, if you know you know
People working there were a little bit cold maybe, but I didn’t affect my stay in any way

The cleanliness in general was subpar.
Had to clean the hairdryer myself because it would not blow air of how clogged with dust it was.
All vent were similarly dirty.

The bed and sheets were very comfortable! All the amenities were very useful, and the room was clean. It is very aesthetic and is a 5 minute walk from the nearby station.
The room was very dark.

Very Good
A good and affordable hotel to stay at. Although the room was smaller than what I am used to in the US, it was still a good room to relax and stay overnight. Area was nice and there are many restaurants to choose from. At night it gets a bit crowded but it is still a relatively quiet area for a hotel. The nearby train station was the best traveling around tokyo. Recommend it for those looking for an affordable place to stay in tokyo.
