The amenities were lovely! The staff was excellent! The room was comfortable—small but they made the most of the space. The bathroom was lovely and spacious. It was by far our most welcoming stay during our two week visit to Japan. Would highly recommend!
The location is particularly great if you want to be close to a lot and near key transit centers, but don’t want to be in a very busy and bustling part of Tokyo.

Location is perfect as the station is few minutes away, breakfast was delicious and with many options (I used a restaurant that served western cuisine). The room also was planned very well so there were a plenty of space to keep my belongings. Wi-Fi also was very good. The hotel is very clean, very quiet and in general has very nice atmosphere and nice staff. You can also control the temperature in the room, which is appreciated because I prefer colder temperature.
There is really nothing to complain about, I would stay there again and I would recommend others to stay here too.

Fair
The view, the facilities, the interior design, room coffee & tea was nice.
Receptionists were condescending, making an effort to intentionally not help, with facial expressions that read as contempt for guests. It doesn't look like a cultural difference, it looks like genuine arrogance, as if landing a job at this hotel was some hard-won career achievement that puts them above the guests they're hired to help. They respond to FAQ questions with visible rejection, as if a helpful, or even just diplomatic, answer from the hotel's own front-of-house staff is a foreign concept.
After a long walk from the station, in the heat, carrying a bag and steering large luggage on a slope, I asked if help getting it to the room was possible. Instead of something like "Sorry, we don't offer that, but the lifts make it easy," she responded with open disgust: "You can take it with the lift to your room yourself." Maybe she assumed I expected her to personally carry it? It's not unusual for a hotel this large and expensive to have staff who handle that. Rather than handling this intelligently, she masked her lack of skill by talking down to me as if I was being unreasonable.
The bathroom had disgusting pink mold in multiple places, worse than the photo shows, and not rust, but bacteria from poor hygiene. The sink was dirty, coated in an oily film that showed no sign of ever being scrubbed.
Quilts were equally disgusting, the cotton filling had separated into loose, floating chunks inside the fabric, felt disgusting to sleep under.
I asked if the beds could be separated. Staff said to wait until cleaning staff came tomorrow to move them, when I asked if I could just do it myself, they still insisted it was impossible and I had to wait. Once in the room, the beds had wheels and moved easily. The carpet had stains & unvacuumed.
Completely incompetent, both in communication and in basic problem-solving.

Location was great. Hotel was good for the price.
the price was high.
if you want the traditional breakfast, you must be in line at the start of breakfast time. The Hotel prepares a limited of of traditional breakfasts.

Everything. It’s cliche but it’s true.
The seats were not too comfortable for the American build but I only have myself to blame in the end on that one.

One of the things I appreciated most about my stay was how authentically Japanese the experience felt. From the thoughtful hospitality to the design and atmosphere, I truly felt immersed in the culture rather than staying in a generic hotel. It made my visit to Japan even more memorable

The property was excellent. Staff were very professional but really didn’t have to ask for anything as everything was as expected. Breakfast was also great.
Nothing was to my dissatisfaction.

Attractive room design. Clean. Unique facilities beyond the expected (Zen garden).
The location was not ideal for me.
The not inexpensive breakfast was okay, I guess.

Exceptional
- Prompt response to inquiries.
- spacious room
- comfortable and clean linens
- refillable toiletries (bath salts were awesome)
- daily cleaning
- of course the amenities are great. The massage chairs, tatami lounge, many washing machines and dryer, ice fridge and microwave
- professional staff
- clear signage and instructions
- value for money
- umbrellas when raining
- luggage forwarding and storage
Few restaurants around. But just walk and you'll find hidden gems of bakeries and restaurants where locals dine..
Cleaning can be improved. The cleaned mugs can be cleaned thoroughly. Wipe or sanitize the room tables and bathrooms.
No direct train station from airport but all good. Not much to unlike. Everything went well! Thank you!
