The layout of the room was odd.
I didn’t understand some cleaning staff’s Japanese. When I was puzzled one of the staffs spoke to me in Chinese. They should practice Japanese before assuming I speak Chinese. (I am Japanese)
One day the room was not cleaned while we were at breakfast even though we requested cleaning. We never got a chance to get the room cleaned for the rest of the day.

The Hotel New Otani Tokyo The Main is a massive hotel found in Tokyo. It's a little ways from some of the main attractions so you might need to taxi your way in and out, but luckily when going out, there's always a fleet of taxis ready for you.
The hotel itself is massive, with multiple restaurants, shops and even a very beautiful garden with multiple ponds and a waterfall.
My room had a shower/bath combo and it was big enough for two people, especially considering the Japanese hotels tend to be smaller than other countries.
They also provide several guides and maps to help guide you in this humongous hotel.
My only very slight nitpicks was that there's two swimming pools, an outdoor and an indoor one. The indoor one seems to be reserved for special memberships and the outdoor one was only open in June. We went in May so we were a little surprised it wasn't open despite the beautiful and hot weather. They also have two gyms but both are pretty small and are surprisingly popular. We weren't able to get a decent workout in and I hope they think about adding another gym.

Good view and the garden and Room is bigger than any other hotel in Tokyo
Room bed was hard as rock, the location is good but not great and for restaurants you have to make reservations, when you’re staying at a hotel and you have to book even breakfast (without previous notice) it’s not great

Staff was excellent, great views from our room, and the setting relative to central Tokyo and the Metro was exceptional.
The bathroom (with step up trip hazard, Formica counter tops, and older fixtures) wasn’t 4-star quality and the inability to find coffee early as well as the exorbitantly priced food ($15 for a coffee) was unfortunate. 4-Star hotels ought to have some way to get coffee in the morning.

This hotel is immense. The rooms are spacious with great views of the city or the lovely garden grounds. The staff is courteous and kind. Everything you need in one place and conveniently located. I'd stay again.

Beautiful rooms- so much better than the garden tower. Almost like a completely different hotel experience.
The food could be way higher quality for what you’re paying - and more authentic - I was disappointed with the low quality and catering to westerners.

Amazing staff and facilities.
The restaurants are very over priced and it's a decent walk to public transportation.

Beautiful hotel, great location, with the option of a Cypress tub. There was also a family mart within connected hotels and amazing price of approximately $60 an hour massages for either body and feet

Breakfast services were nice, and the variety of restaurants was great. Rooms we nice. I liked walking in the garden.
The hotelsia bit of a maze and it can be hard to find places at first. It is surprisingly ahrd ot find an entrance ot the garden.

concierge was very helpful.
Unfortunately, breakfast was a daily constant disaster, very crowded, long wait lines for a table. Very stressful, it felt like a cruise ship.

We had a view of the Fabulous garden, a nice big room, with a wonderful bath, a walk in closet. Excellent service, so many restaurants to choose from! Taxis waiting outside the door, it really could not have been better!
Nothing to dislike!

The zen garden, the breakfast
A bit remote— a little far from the public transport esp if coming home late at night watching the cherry blossom illumination. We have to take cabs all the time
