Very Good
The location was in a very good area and easy to find if you are driving there. The staff were incredibly nice and respectful, and it was wonderful that they tried to get to know you while checking in, taking luggage up etc. They were highly personable.
Unfortunately the beds were a little too stiff for my liking but I was still able to sleep. Its fairly common for the beds in tokyo(at least the hotels ive been too with more than 2 people) can be stiff, not a complete deal breaker though! I was caught off guard on room service pricing but I am not used to using room service, so take that how you will.

Nice hotel — even has a tranquil Japanese garden, in case you want to feel peaceful while stressing about travel plans. Close to the subway statios. We had a great view of Tokyo Tower. The staff is very polite and helpful.
It’s a massive property — beautiful, but you might need a map and emotional support to get around. The restaurants and shops are lovely, if you don’t mind refinancing your house for breakfast.

Wonderful
The hotel was clean, very comfortable with great service. It was centrally located to all of Tokyo’s major sites. It was nice to walk near the hotel without the crowds. There is a restaurant area about 5 mins walk and plenty of convenience stores. Close to 2 metro stops. The rooms are small - we had 2 adjoining rooms for our family if 4- but plenty of space for luggage etc. We had a nice view of the city and sunset from our room.

Staff, location, rooms, and vibes were amazing. Will definitely be coming back when I’m in Tokyo.
The beds were decently hard, but that’s really the only downside. The meals in the hotel were expensive for what you got as well, better off finding food off property.

Wonderful
The room size, amenities, cleanness... all was very satisfactory. The hotel is very big and has a huge beautiful garden. We were with elderly parents, and we could do everything(dining, strolling, shopping) within the hotel. Hotel service was excellent. Well, it is what a 5-star hotel is. The breakfast is very good.
The hotel is crowded, and it is confusing at first, because The New Otani hotel is composed of at least three parts(the main, the court, the tower). But you get used to it after 2 days.

Wonderful
The location is incredible, its in a very calm upscale area which is close to a metro station and many amenities. It was nice to be close to busy areas but return back to a calm and tranquil place. The hotel itself feels very luxurious and elite, with a lot of shops and fine dining options. Additionally, the staff were incredibly polite.

This was our last hotel before heading to the airport for an international flight. The staff really saved us when our ride came to pick us up with all our luggage. There was a confusion about which entrance the pickup would happen, but the hotel staff went above and beyond to relay messages between the two entrances and direct our driver to us. They were also a huge help with moving the 5 suitcases we had by then. The garden was beautiful and quiet. It was nice to have a convenience store located in the same building. Our room was spacious and clean. I wish we’d had time to sample more amenities like the spa services!
This isn’t as close to a train station as some other hotels, and it’s not as central of an area as Shibuya or Shinjuku. But with luggage shipping it was a simple 8-10 minute walk from the train station. We were a little confused finding the front desk amid the shopping area when we first arrived. I wish there was more signage about where to go.

This is a WOW hotel. Great restaurants of many and different menus.
Staff very efficient and always there for you.
Great location next to the ginza line.
If I come back to Tokyo this is the place to stay in.
1. Bed (mattress) in my room wasn’t 100% comfortable
2. I ate twice in the restaurant great food however a little expensive for Tokyo.

Room was spacious. The location is great - not far from city center. The hotel has a private Garden that is very nicely illuminated at night. You can have breakfast in the restaurant with a view to the Garden, quite nice.
While in general the hotel staff was very helpful, the receptionist that made the check-in displayed quite an unpleasant reaction/mimic on his face (visibly unhappy with tourists and expects perfect Japanese conversations skills) when we failed to understand right away what he meant.
The luggage guy from right after check-in was way more welcoming and easier to understand (was speaking English better)

Wonderful
The property itself is a literal small city. You don’t have to leave because everything you need is available.
The room was spotless and spacious. The bed was comfortable, the linens were great quality, you can order special pillows and pajamas made the stay even better.
We loved the garden hence my reason for booking. Because of health reasons, walking a big park was a challenge and this hotel has a gorgeous garden on site to enjoy.
We purchased the breakfast. There are choices of restaurants to visit. One requires an extra charge which was well worth the money.
The concierge was very helpful to us with some phone calls we couldn’t place ourselves due to the language barriers. My special thanks to the young woman expecting a baby. She was warm, welcoming and so sweet. Her personality made me feel at home. Thank you
The room itself was a bit tired. It was honestly a bit disappointing for a hotel of that caliber.
I was very sick on my first day and stayed in to rest. There was a large group who were loud, rowdy and inconsiderate. There was banging so loud it shook my wall. Sound travels in the rooms. My husband went to the lobby to request a room change which was dismissed. No apology and we feel we were blown off. We had to explain if they sent someone up, they would not hear much since they had already left. We felt our complaint was dismissed. Later on in the evening, the guests were back, just as loud, and im assuming they were spoken to because it stopped. While I’m grateful for their following up, I must point out my sleep was disturbed while I was so unwell.
There was another incident with a booger stuck on the elevator wall. I can only blame the savage who had the nerve to do something so disgusting and inappropriate. The staff immediately followed up and left a letter of apology in an impressive amount of time. My reason to point this second incident is more to criticize the behavior of some guests and politely ask to behave, especially in such a wonderful place like Japan.

I was supposed to get a nonsmoking standard room but it was not available and so I had to move to an expensive room.
