I extended my checkout time by one hour and was charged 4,000 yen. Even though I had already paid a 10% VAT and a 13% property service charge, they still added another 2,000 yen in unexplained fees. The staff couldn’t clearly explain the extra charges in English, and since we were exhausted after our flight, I just paid it so we could check in. There was also one time when I told the staff to come back after 3 p.m. for cleaning, but they kept coming back and knocking on the door before then.

The location is perfect! Away from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo! Very convenient to train station, and many restaurants in walking distance. The room is well appointed, and for Tokyo it's spacious for two tall people! We highly recommend this hotel! There is a Very Friendly Family Mart Store across the street, a noodle restaurant up the street, and a great bakery across of it! Everything you need to get your morning started. Very peaceful, clean, and modern area. We walked around at all times of the day, and never once felt afraid. We are two senior citizens, and at the end of a very busy day we were always Happy to See our Hotel!
We liked everything about the Hotel. No complaints from us! Housekeeping was there everyday, you were greeted whenever you were leaving and/or returning. No dislikes! It was a perfect place and hotel!

Excellently cared for & maintained large Metropolitan Hotel in good location to Tokyo Dome and Imperial Palace gardens. Easy one transfer railway access from Haneda Airport and good railway line options to get to other parts of Tokyo. Staff I encountered didn't have any language difficulties with english speaking guests. Hotel website is very helpful for first time visitors (to this hotel) re access etc. Breakfast was very good (for western visitors at least).

It's a seriously posh hotel. We actually stayed there under 2 different hats. For the first couple of days we paid privately and got rather a small room, but very comfortable. After that we hooked up with our guided tour group in the same hotel, and were moved to a much larger room, which we had obviously paid for as part of the tour package. Breakfast was included and it was great, with a large variety of both Japanese and Western foods. There are many staff members in the lobby, all very polite and eager to help with anything. There's a self service laundry room which is open 24/7, but you need to be astute in order to use it. In the evening there's a big demand, all the machines are taken and you need to time your arrival so as to coincide with a machine reaching the end of the its cycle. There's an excellent small Ramen restaurant very close to the hotel.
Not much to dislike. It was excellent, if you've got no issues with paying the required price. You get exactly what you pay for, excellent quality.

It was well located close to a subway station that allowed us to reach any place we wanted without having to walk much: the hotel has a good breakfast buffet at a reasonable additional price but the best of the hotel is the bar: very cozy and comfortable. A good place to relax after a long day have a beer and light meals. The rest was good. The staff was very Helpful-

The hotel staff are very friendly. The room that I booked was spacious. Amenities are good. Happy that there's a self-service launderette in the hotel albeit it's in another wing & we have to switch to another lift. The staff was also very helpful in booking a taxi for us to airport.
The pillows were too soft for us, even though we tried sleeping on 2 pillows. Our necks were very uncomfortable. It might be good to have the room carpeted to reduce noise level coming from the guest room above.

Efficient and attentive staff, quite good English skills. Loved the glamour and ambience, so well cared for. Beautiful aromas throughout and so special to see Halloween decor. Housekeeping was exceptional, very much appreciated. Handy patisserie and convenience store on site. Loved the quiet neighbourhood, truely hope to return.

The hotel is very pleasant and of a high standard, from the lobby to the rooms. Everything is clean and well-maintained, with a fresh scent and excellent housekeeping. The staff is friendly and welcoming, the location is close to train stations, and the surrounding. area is quiet and comfortable even at night. Overall, a truly enjoyable stay
The room we booked turned out to be way smaller than we expected and came with only drawers, without a closet.
