I went with my entire family for a vacation to Japan back in May 2026. Most of our time spent was in Kyoto but we started our trip in Tokyo. We needed two rooms for 2 nights and had booked different set of combinations as the same kind of rooms were unavailable. When we checked in, we were very early. The staff was kind enough to provide us with both rooms after 1 hour but the best part was that they upgraded both rooms to deluxe and on the top floors with excellent views. Apart from that, the hotel itself was clean and well maintained and the staff were courteous. The breakfast buffet was definitely worth it. It was not really a buffet but a set menu which was ok for us. Overall, great stay and would recommend to others.
Location: I felt Hanzamom is primarily a business location even though it is right across from the Imperial palace. So you find a lot of people with suits walking around. There were certainly tourists like us as well. Great news though, the metro is a block away and you can pretty much go anywhere.

Amazing view, Patio restaurant, convenient access to the subway, and a very clean room with great amenities. The room size was perfect, and the bed was spacious and extremely comfortable.
The only “problem” was the incredible view from the room, I ended up sitting by the window enjoying it until almost 6 a.m. before finally going to sleep :)

THE VIEW from the rooms is amazing. We loved the quiet and beautiful location and with the metro nearby we could get anywhere in Tokyo easily. The room was clean and comfortable. There were drawers to store our belongings and since we stayed 8 nights it was nice to be able to unpack. Nice amenities in the room. We didn’t eat here but the bar on the 4th floor had great service and views. The front desk was also very efficient and helpful with taxis, luggage transfers, and checking in and out. We felt that for a room in a central location with the great views and service, the hotel was a good value as well.
We loved everything but if you prefer to be in the center of nightlife and shopping then this would not be the best location.

The location was great for the sites and museums
The Japanese style room was a lot smaller than expected and had a funky smell to it. Not to mention a bandaid on the wall. So cleaning was brought into question.

The room was nice overall. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The Restaurant Patio was very nice. The area surrounding the hotel was quiet and didn't feel full of tourists, but it was close to the subway and not far from a lot of big tourist areas.
The room was quite small. The view wasn't as great as expected. The pillows weren't very comfortable.

Beautiful view of the imperial Palace! Very close to family Mart and 711! It is very close to what Metro station. Comfy bed. Nice sample of skin care products!
I wish the Front Desk stuff is very friendly! I wish they speak more English. I apologize for our poor Japanese.

Amazing stay!! INCREDIBLE VIEW, so clean and very nice lobby. You can see the palace grounds and would definitely stay here again. They have a resturuant but I did not eat here. Very close to a subway stop (3 min walk)
