The staff went above and beyond for us. We were planning to stay for 3 nights, but my asthma started acting up from our room being a bit dated. We had to find another hotel. They were so gracious and allowed us to cancel without a fee even though we were already checked in. Mr. Yamaha who was the Front Manager was so helpful and attentive. He helped us get our luggage down to the lobby, refunded our payment, and held our bags until we were able to find another hotel. We were very grateful. He mentioned that they are going to be doing a big renovation soon. We would definitely give them another try once the renovation takes place. Thanks Mr. Yamaha.
Public spaces were nice, but the room was dated and smelled musty. This wouldn’t bother most people but it was not good for my asthma.

Woke up on first morning to a view of Mt. Fuji. Which was very lucky because we did not see it for the rest of the trip. Location was great. Room was exactly as advertised.
Buffet breakfast could have been a little better considering the cost.

Very nice modern hotel and we managed to be given a good size room (some are smaller). Easy to navigate to the hotel when you finally escape the train station. The direct train from Narita airport to Shinjuku station made baggage handling easy. A 7-11 is also on site which was very handy and frequented.
There is nothing we didn't like as such, but with the heat in Japan an upmarket hotel with a pool would be great when retreating in the afternoon.

Would choose this hotel again for Location alone and ease of transportation. The large rooms and views were nice. It was nice having the laundry service. Although close to Shinjuku craziness., is very quiet.
Although the location was excellent close to transportation and walkable to Meiji Jingu Shrine, Cat street, etc, the immediate surroundings are a little sterile with American restaurants… Shake shack, Starbucks…

The location to the transportation hub in Shinjuku was paramount to our choice in deciding which hotel. The room was spacious & very comfortable. The sounds from the trains from the nearby station were mitigated by the height of the hotel. The lobby, for example, is located on the 20th floor so all rooms were all high w good to great views of the area. Above road/track walkway was helpful in access to the station. Breakfast buffet was very good with a mix of Japanese & Western choices. The nearby restaurants, cafes & snack shops were plentiful.
Access to the subway lines were myriad & easy to get lost. Clarification on Booking.com should be a consideration. My wife used Odakyu Hotel Southern Century to ask the taxi driver for the ride, he knew it best w/o Odakyu. A suggestion: Hotel should indicate the rush hour flow for both morning & evening. Shinjuku is one of the busiest commuter hubs in Tokyo, so if the guest is flexible, then the reward is a more comfortable public transport option.
