Pleasant
Service was lovely and the sushi restaurant was excellent. The staff are wonderful and helped us with the delivery of our suitcases to the next destination. The view from the room was nice too.
It's just not worth the money compared to other hotels we visited - by far the most expensive we had and compared to something like the cross hotel and their quality it's just not worth it. The room felt quite outdated.

Century Southern is so conveniently located in Shinjuku. The days I stayed in Tokyo were all raining. The centrally located Century Southern saved us from the trouble of carrying umbrella all the time.
I have stayed in Century Southern a few times in the past 10 years. It may need renovation or refurbishment in the coming few years though the facilities are still acceptable at the moment.

Brilliant location — right by the station exit, which was perfect after landing at Narita. The hotel was comfortable and efficient. Our room was high up with amazing views of the city and had all the facilities we needed. The restaurant was average, and breakfast was the same each day with little variation, though the croissants were the best we’ve had in Japan! The percolated coffee was lovely, but no lattes or cappuccinos were offered. There’s a 7-Eleven in the basement, and the lifts make it easy to access both the front and back of the hotel. The location is great — close to everything but just outside the busiest area, with plenty of good restaurants nearby. We stayed for five days and would definitely recommend it to anyone staying in Shinjuku.
The only suggestion would be that they have more variation at breakfast especially fruit. It was always the same and maybe you could get a different type of coffee latte cappuccino and the smoothie was always banana. Maybe variations in the smoothie but everything else was excellent

Staff was friendly and the location was close enough to Shinjuku without being on top of it
This was the second time I stayed at the hotel and the room I had was not very good. The bathroom had a smell to it, the ac did not work well as the previous room I was in, and there was a lot of dust that triggered my allergies and irritated my sinuses

The view was awesome. It was very close to Shinjuku station. The breakfast was good enough. The room was comfortable.
We used the laundry services which are good & quick, but nobody told us it will cost so much. They had to tell us at least that it is not free. We also visited 2 other Hotels across Japan and the laundry was free of charge when you do it yourself.

Location was super. Close to the Shinjuku station and the bus terminal. The view was very nice and I loved it. Overall, the room was clean and comfortable.
Hard to find the check in lobby. I did not know that it was located at 20th floor. No bell boys or greeters. My room had a slight smoking smells and the sleepwear were old and smelled like half- dried fungus smells. I could not even use it. Very disappointed.

Great location and a lovely hotel. This was our second stay at this hotel and we really enjoyed it once again. The view from the scenic rooms is exceptional - you can see far across Tokyo city and the nearby gardens. The breakfast is excellent. The location is great - it's close to several different subway line entrances to Shinjuku station and there's a walkway directly across to Takashimaya Times Square department store.
A little expensive for a fairly small room, but this was balanced out by the great view. The bathroom was good but not exceptional.
