This hotel is an awesoem place to stay if visiting Tokyo/Shinjuku. Very strategically located to just walk and walk and walk. Oh and the shopping is endless!!
The room was kinda small for my liking. However, I opted for the lesser priced room so that's on me. I would definitely stay here again.

Fair
Located very close to restaurants and shopping
This hotel is way overpriced for the condition of the rooms, the room is very small and reminded me of a 1970s motor lodge on the inside, the hotel its self was up to date but the rooms are way in the past

Location was great - convenient and well connected to trains and airport bus. Rooms were comfortable, especially the bed.
Pricing was high. No facilities eg fitness centre or bathroom in lobby for guests having late flights. Fees imposed on extended or late check out was very expensive.

The room was a good size and massive bed which was nice. Great view and big window. Good shower pressure. I liked how there was a 7/11 downstairs. And great location. It was also nice and quiet despite being near a busy train station.
I dont think this is a good 4 star hotel. The lobby and everything looks very grand but the rooms themselves are very old and tired. There were marks all over the walls, ceiling was peeling a bit and the carpet had seen better days and the room smelt of stale cigarettes. Even the information book was falling apart. The bathroom was very old fashioned as well. There werent many amenities offered as well. No room service (which was fine as we wouldnt have used it anyways), the drinks machine didnt offer much, I dont believe there was a airport shuttle bus anymore. The rooms desperately need updating. Saying all this, if I was in Tokyo again I wouldnt mind staying at the same hotel. It wasnt awful, just not 4 star in my opinion.

Right next to Shinjuku train station. You feel like you're staying right above the train station. Easy access to the main road, bridge connecting you to department stores like Takeshimaya. Beautiful views no matter which direction your room is facing.
Once you get into the hotel you have to take an elevator to the 20th floor which is the lobby and then walk across the lobby to the elevators that go to the actual guest room floors. I understand that not everyone wants random people having access to guest floors but they could have done it where it requires a room key in order to select a guestroom floor.
The rooms that offer 2 beds should be at least a double/full size. I'm used to sleeping on a full size bed at home so a twin was a little rough. I'd find my pillow on the floor almost every morning. I move a lot in my sleep.

We couldn't have asked for a better spot for our first few nights stay in Japan and Tokyo!!! The view knocked our socks off. Centrally located. The first day we walked everywhere to explore. After that trains are all so close. Rooms are clean, big, updated and have all you need. The staff is very friendly.
Nothing...

We loved how close and convenient the location was for using the trains. Its right by the station and was the perfect stay for our first time in Tokyo. It was also fantastic to have a 7-Eleven in the first floor entrance to the hotel - Ty is was invaluable.
The property is very large and more western style in many ways. Having a more Japanese themes would have been welcomed. And we didnt care for the dinner we had at the hotel, it could have been that restaurant but it put us off trying any where else.
