The room was clean, it didn’t smell at all. The staff was very polite and also offered us help to carry our luggage. The hotel is near the Shinagawa station which makes it excellent for moving around the city and getting to the airport (Both Haneda and Narita).

ALL! The room was spacious and clean. The staffs are really good and helpful. The garden outside is so nice. The restaurants are also fancy and delicious.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable.
The people at the front desk are not very nice. It seems like they need better training and customer service. Also, the rooms are too hot. It’s not possible to fall asleep when it’s that hot. They need to allow the air conditioner to be turned down lower. We had to sleep with the window open all night for two weeks to keep the rooms cooler.

Grand Prince Hotel Takanawa is a good option if you prefer to stay slightly away from the busiest parts of Tokyo, while still being well-connected. The rooms are noticeably larger than typical Tokyo hotel rooms, with a spacious bathroom, and everything was clean and well-maintained. Service was warm and welcoming, and although it’s a big hotel, it still felt comfortable. There’s a small Seven-Eleven right in the lobby, and a larger one about a 5-minute walk away, which is very convenient. The location is generally good, but keep in mind you’ll need to walk about 10 minutes to reach the train: roughly 10 minutes (using shortcuts through The Prince Sakura Tower Tokyo) to Shinagawa Station, and about 10 minutes to Takanawadai Station. To make things easier, the hotel also offers a shuttle service to Shinagawa Station, which is very helpful if you have luggage. The photo attched was taken from the hotel.
The hotel was under renovation during my stay, but it didn’t affect my experience at all. I haven't experienced any noise issues, and the only minor downside was that the gym was in the sister hotel across the way (I ended up skipping it).

Stuff could be much more friendlier.. Until now I got no statement for my stay although written several emails, submitting copies of residence card, lots of calls and a promise I get it by email..

Very nice facility with a very helpful staff. The breakfast buffet was good and overall we really enjoyed our stay.
The only issue was because it’s located in a compound with two other Prince hotels the cab drivers could never find this one.

New renovated, few floors are still undergoing renovations. Since this was an older hotel, the room is spacious. Location is near Shinagawa station, just a small walk uphill. It is faster to access the hotel via the garden.
My credit card and WISE card was rejected for some extra payment of Yen 400. They said it was due to my card "high" security. Strange as I was able to use it everywhere else beside the hotel.

Really nice hotel, right next to the train station. Staff were so polite and helpful.
Somewhere near our room must have been a smoking room because we could smell cigarette smoke which was unpleasant. Everything else was great.
