Good
Convenient to the train station (an easy walk). Beautiful gardens. Gorgeous building and details.
There is some evidence of wear and tear.

I don't think this property had a fitness center. This property had 7-elven on the premise. Close to the airport, had several restaurants near by.
Staff was not very friendly. Staff was not willing to accommodate anything. I booked a room for 4 people. It had only one bathroom with toilet and shower. That is very hard for a group of four people.

Good
At the buffett, the salad were fresh and the Japanese dressing was delicious. Scrambled eggs was cooked perfectly, very fluffy, not overcooked. The variety of Western options with some Japanese traditions such as miso soup is avaialable.
Yhe cloithes uiuiron did not work, the attendant/gentleman who brought a replacement was professional, polite and addressed the matter quickly and efficiently.
The gardens were beautiful and a peaceful, Japanese oasis in the middle of the city was very refreshing!
Customer service experience by the staff from checkin to checkout was excellent!
The room lighting were plentiful and the options to dim them was helpful.
The room elevators were plentiful, quick and never waited extensively. The lobby area was clean and decorated well.
Only a 10 minute walk to the train station!
At Western breakfast restaurant, no salt and pepper to be fouund. As a customer, should I be the one to hunt down salt and pepper or a service clerk to ask for it? I waited for someone to assist me and gave up since my eggs were getting cold.
No access to the water fall area nor the pool, Did we get our money's worth for accomodations I paid and expected to enjoy at this hotel? Well, unfortunately, no
The tv is too small for the distance from the bedboard.
The room carpet had multiple old stains, very obvious.

Exceptional
This hotel is extremely luxurious and the price point is on the lower end of modest. It was a quiet and peaceful, not only at the hotel, but also the surrounding area. This hotel is overlooked by travellers in favour of Shinjuku or Shibuya areas, probably not realizing that it is a few minutes walk to Shinagawa station (jr line and Shinkansen). I genuinely look forward to staying here again in the future.

hotel was beautiful and spacious rooms compared to other hotels we stayed at
the area surrounding the hotel is very expensive for food and drink. there really isnt much to do in the area and the walk to the train station is far and on the way back it is uphill

Pleasant
The property is in a great location for getting to/from Haneda airport. It’s up a steep hill from Shinagawa station, if you’re carrying luggage.
The lobby has been renovated and is lovely, but the rooms are very dated and worn. The walls and furniture are scuffed, the carpets and furniture in our rooms seemed clean, but stained in places and threadbare.

The hotel/resort was very big so it had a lot of things. We upgraded from our basic room to the Club Floor which provided us additional amenities (do rececommed upgrading). The garden was beautiful, we walked almost every day. The closest station was Asakusa or Shinagawa. Choose Shinagawa if traveling far as it is a big station and a stop for the Shinkansen. 7/11 was in the hotel on the other end.
The only thing I didn't like were the carpets. They need deep cleaning or need to be replaced.

Good
Room is so good, nice scenery and big enough to have comfort
Location is also good, with garden within the hotel, except a bit far a way from the train station when you have luaguages to carry.
The Staffs at the welcome desk are not so nice, not helpful and look very strict.
when you walk and carry luggauges from the station, it is very difficult to notice the entrance and nobody welcome or tell you.

Loved the quiet of the Club Level and room size! It was clean, provided a spectacular view of the Tokyo Tower, huge comfy bed, lovely sitting area and wonderful bath amenities. The Club Lounges at the Shin Takanawa and Grand Prince Takanawa were gorgeous, provided exceptional meals and snacks, flawless service.
