Wonderful
I love the neighborhood and the number of lines in walking distance, good conviece store options
Like many hotels in Japan, staying in November meant only heater setting for air conditioning, so that was a little rough, lockers are a little confusing, but work good for small items.

Good
I’d heard about this hostel a long time ago and really wanted to try it. It’s famous for its bar, music, and community vibe and I can see why. I really liked the atmosphere downstairs and the friendly, welcoming staff.
Unfortunately, the property feels quite old, and it’s been open for a while without much renovation. I stayed in the upper bunk, which was very close to pipes and other fixtures; it didn’t feel particularly safe or clean.
I also noticed that the duvets weren’t properly washed between guests; they were just aired out for a few hours before being reused. I’m honestly surprised there haven’t been hygiene issues yet.
Considering the price, I expected the place to be cleaner and more modern. It’s quite average overall. You also have to make your own bed and duvet, and the duvet cover only covers one side, leaving the rest exposed to previous guests.
I didn’t sleep well, maybe because I didn’t feel comfortable. Next time, I’ll choose a place with a proper ceiling and a fresher, more hygienic environment.

Staff were friendly and hospitable. There was a bar downstairs and you can get coffe and breakfast at the first floor in the morning.
Not the hostel's fault. But there was someone who threw up in the 2nd floor's male shower changing room (and in 2 out of 3 of them)when I stayed there. Dunno who, but please, if you want to throw up after drinking or not feeling well, find a toilet or a sink at the very least.

Staff was amazing!
The private room was very expensive for what you get. My room in San Francisco on my way out to Tokyo was $40 cheaper, two times bigger, and had a private bathroom.

Convenient location
I went to the specified room and bed to find someone else sleeping there, I went back to the reception and told them this and they arranged another bed for me, but I had specifically requested a bottom bunk and they said they ran out even though they had accepted the request when I booked.

I liked everything. It exceeded my expectations.
Everything was excellent, but If it had a bigger common area would be better, many people need to use their laptops and was a little bit difficult to find a place to sit when I needed to eat food there. Also common kitchen area is very very small, perhaps you can only make coffee and heat some ramen. It's not bad but just be aware of that.

The place is so clean and the staff was so nice.
The hostel also has a nice stylish vibe to it with a bar/cafe attached in case you want to meet people.

Wonderful
Wonderful bathroom and shower facilities, a comfortable bed, and nice breakfast options. It's a hip place with an industrial vibe, but the staff are welcoming and helpful. Laundry detergent is provided, laundry is 300, dryer is 100 for 30 minutes.
Only suggestion is to have a carpet beneath the sink in the private rooms. The cement floor is very hard and not super welcoming, and since the rooms are tiny you have to make use of all the floor space for luggage, etc!

Wonderful
Everyone was wonderful. Kind staff that let me practice my japanese but filled in with english when I needed a hand. The amenities like washing and drying on location were lifesavers. I would recommend the location for sure.
The only thing that came up for me was that the location itself doesn't have much of interest within walking. It's a fairly business oriented district, but that said, the metro stops are only two or three blocks away so anything in Tokyo is right at your doorstep. Plus, EVERYTHING in Japan is fascinating and wonderful and so that was only a TINY issue. I would highly recommend CITAN.

The property was at a great location. If you're new to Tokyo and flying into HND, you can get a one way ticket on the train for a couple dollars. I'd recommend a 72 hour unlimited tokyo metro ticket.
This hostel is centrally located, the staff are super welcoming, and there are cool people staying there. There's a nice kitchen and lounge room. The bathrooms are also kept in nice condition.
Didn't stay long enough ;)

Wonderful
Convenient location and comfortable. I stayed in the four bed dorm and felt like there was plenty of space. Staff were really friendly and the common area was nice.
It was a little hard to get the AC to a comfortable temperature. Also would have been nice to not have shoes on in the room.

Wonderful
I absolutely loved the location, atmosphere and concept of the hostel. It was really a great place for people from different cultures to gather and meet up all together.
Maybe the breakfast menu for food could be expanded a little more; nevertheless the food that I had was still very good quality.
