Food was amazing, the location is very close to a lot of shops and attractions, they had inhouse laundry and spa
room size is very small, extra charge to use to pool

Very Good
Great location, good facilities.
Small room, hotel bar closed early, washing machines out of order, very cold staff.

Exceptional
The deluxe twin room on the top floor was spacious and very comfortable. Great view of the city, and there was no excessive noise at night. Mini-fridge worked well (as long as you remember to switch it on first). Bathroom was spacious with extra amenities.
Shared bath on 2F was a plus.
Staff was very helpful with having our luggage sent to the airport.
Highly recommend paying extra for this unit.
The shared bath on 2F felt small for the size of the hotel. It can get crowded pretty fast. The TV in the room shows the relative crowdedness, so you can plan before leaving your room. P.S. No Irish Coffee at the Irish Pub next to the lobby.

Very Good
Nice rooms, nice onsen, the beds were amazingly comfortable and the best of any hotel we stayed at in Japan
Self service check-in seemed not as welcoming or inviting as being helped by a hotel employee

Wonderful
It's my 4th stay here. If you want to hang around Shinjuku, booking this place with the large baths and the location outside the busiest area is more relaxing than staying in the APAs in the city center. Since it's often fully booked in summer, the only twin room I had left was the Deluxe Twin, which is a bit of an overkill for a solo traveler (ends up being huge and luxurious), so the room was obviously great.
This is not the hotel's fault, but since it's booked with a lot of people, waiting for a dryer (for the clothes) is always a hassle. They have many dryers available, but since it takes many cycles to fully dry your clothes, you have to avoid peak time at all costs.

Good
Decent size
It would have been nice if usage of the pool would be included already like other hotels without additional charge.

Very Good
Great location near subway station. Quiet neighborhood. Clean. Good value. Recommend twin room for more space even if you don’t use both beds as the standard double is only big enough for the bed.
Bathroom very small with significant step up. Not safe for anyone with even minor mobility, age or balance issues. Significant confusion regarding AC control. Staff stated in email that there was individual control of temperature but upon check in was told hotel controls climate. We were able to adjust the temperature by a degree or two however so it was comfortable for us.

The hotel was very clean and had all needed amenities.
The rooms are very small. You were required to have a ticket for each breakfast and each person every day.

Fair
The pool costs additional fees, and it’s not cheap. 2000 yens for one hour per person. If you want to book because it has a pool, don’t!
