Exceptional
There was a nice jacuzzi bath which was perfect after a long travel day. The breakfast was very delicious - highly recommend! Also, it was nice to experience a more traditional Japanese inn with tatami and futons. By the way, I had the best sleep of my whole trip here using the aforementioned futons :)
It was a bit out of the way in terms of location. After getting off the shinkansen at Tokyo Station it was another 30 minutes to the hotel. However, it is conveniently located near the Hibiya line which is well connected.

While shared bathroom does not sound ideal, they were very clean and not that busy! The room was small, but somewhat like camping so it was okay.

The onsen and breakfasts are great additions. Luggage elevator is helpful to not carry up all the stairs.
I have back issues. So tatami mats are always hard on me, but these ones are still better than the rest

The staff was absolutely amazing very kind and very helpful. They were friendly and had a great atmosphere. The breakfast options were varied and the food tasted great. The shared facilities were not too bad. They kept them very clean. The jacuzzi on the 4th floor was very nice.
The room was very humid, and the ac was limited so it couldn't compensate. The thick comforter they provided had me sweating all night. I was able to swap the comforter for the bed sheet which made it more comfortable. Still a nice stay

The staff were excellent. The breakfast was great. The security was great.
We did not expect it to be so rustic. We did not expect to share bathroom facilities or to have to ask for towels. The beds were not real futons. The location was difficult to find especially when trying to find it while out walking. Easily get turned around on the streets.

Excellent breakfast and service by the staff. Location is in a good and quiet area. Amenities are good and the hot tub sento is amazing.
Rooms might be a bit small but well within the average of Tokyo.

Good location, friendly and helpful staff. The room was small but more than efficient for me and my wife. It was also pretty quiet, would reccommend!
Not really a negative for me, but you do share bathrooms with other guests. If that's something you care about then this is not the place for you.

The location was perfect, and the staff prepared an amazing breakfast for us. Everyone was kind and nice! We loved the charming design, the small onsen-style bath, and the overall relaxing atmosphere. Great value for the price — highly recommended! It's truly a gem!
