The location was good and there was a lot of space.
This hotel isn't really part of the Swissotel. Didn't feel like it whatsoever but just a rundown building next to the resort of apartments.

I was expecting to have a hotel room and instead I was given an apartment room which was filthy, ugly, and nothing like what was advertised. I am very disappointed with this discrepancy. I had to pay a fine to cancel and reserve a room in a nice hotel

Location was good.
The two-bedroom apartments arent connected to the hotel in any way other than sharing of some resources. The apartments seem to be subcontracted through another company which is isnt transparent when booking. Quotes of luxurious arent backed up as the accommodation is very basic and similar to cheaper accommodation Ive paid much less for during previous visits.

The location of Swissotel Al Marooj is excellent. The staff were fantastic. There were friendly, polite, attentive and helpful. We were made feel very special during our stay.
Our apartment was starting to show its age and in need of some maintenance. We had a leaking toilet and our sliding door to the balcony was hard to open and close. However our apartment was very clean.
