Getting to and from Dubai

The city-state’s main aviation gateway, Dubai International Airport is located approximately 5 kilometers east of the city center. It is one of the busiest airports in the world. The Red and Green lines of the Dubai Metro, a rapid transit rail network, connect the airport to dozens of stops throughout the city. In addition to a government owned taxi service, several surface bus routes are also available. They arrive and depart from the Airport Ground Transportation Center.
