The property is downtown. You can actually walk to Mall of Dubai in about 20 minutes if you wanted to and see some other shops along the way. Its very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The staff is great and its easy to get a taxi, Uber, or careem. There are many restaurants available at this location as well. The view from my room was amazing.
Housekeeping leaves a card on your bed to breakfast brought to your room in the morning. The first time filled it out wrong, fine my fault but the second I filled it out right placed it outside my door before 12am like it said and I never got it, twice.

The bathroom didnt have a water bidet which was considering this is a must in every hotel.

Without fail, all staff were extremely polite and professional. The room was spacious.
The hotel is just too big. It cannot cope with demand peaks. It is inexcusable that we had to wait six hours for our luggage to be transferred from the check-in to our room. We were told on two occasions that the luggage was in the room. In the end, we had to retrieve it ourselves from the Bell Captain's storage room. To his credit, he did arrange for my wife and I to have a meal. But that does not detract from the fact that the problem occurred. Also, the 'Kitchen 6' restaurant seems to be permanently on the edge of chaos. My wife and I were directed to another restaurant for more than half of our stay. That was a good solution, but on those occasions when we took breakfast in the Kitchen 6, the experience was stressful and not at all good value for money. Finally, we were staying at the hotel as part of a seminar. There were too many issues with the set-up of the meeting room, which created frustration for the organisers. I am sorry for the negative comments, as the staff were most courteous and do not deserve criticism. However, the hotel is clearly struggling in some areas.
